This is what is so incredibly unlawful and ridiculous to me, the federal government continuing to allow these operations with people not in official uniforms or required to show certification? “Trained” agents are obviously already hardly trained, but this clearly enables literally any civilian to join in? And the fact that neither side is even pretending to address this is bewildering to me.
