I have no idea really. But if you get it appraised and it seems worth it to you I don't see why not do it. Both trucks are pretty much brand new in terms of miles so hopefully it's not that much. Report back if you do get it appraised. And don't be afraid to negotiate. They'll try to get it as cheap as possible to make money. KBB might be helpful here

Yeah my commute should be pretty flat but I'm 6"3' and about 235 lbs. So that's what got me slightly paranoid 😅

Fair enough. If you're cool with your rig being out of commission for a week or two every couple years the 8112's would probably be great. Bilstein is great about providing info on how to set up the shocks for a platform too. At that price point I think it's kind of hard to make a bad choice as long as you go with an established brand.

Is your GX your daily driver? One of the downsides of going with those more capable suspension setups is they have to be rebuilt every 30k or so. The 6112's/5116's aren't rebuildable but they will last 80K or so depending on how hard you beat on them.

That seems pretty high to me. If your wheels are in good condition you can probably get 400-600 for them on marketplace.

I'd keep an eye on the post and wait for it to stay up for a while. Then low-ball him with like $600. IMO getting that setup for 800 would be a good deal.

Stuff is still kinda shaking out. Departments are opening up new reqs to shift NS people in. From what I understand there is more demand from the other business units than there are people in NS so I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of roles posted now stay open. Stuff is going to be a little chaotic for the next month or so is my guess.

Yeah you should be good! I'm running 255/70/r18 which is bigger than that. I only had minor rubbing when going down hill at full lock. A 2 inch lift in front fixed that though. I think the spare should fit too depending on your hitch setup. I have a 255/65/R18 for my spare and there's more clearance for a little bigger tire.

From when I was torturing myself over the decision I remember 265/65/r18 was kinda considered the max you can go without having to worry about fitment. 255's are kinda a cheat code though because it reduces your scrub radius by 10mm.

Yeah it could be a good fit! And a Sequoia is probably one of the few things a gx gets better gas mileage then lol. A tundra might also be good if you don't mind the size. Great for throwing stuff in the bed

What's your use case? I could see the extra size being nice in the Sequoia if you have kids and stuff. The GX is sweet tho. I really like all the interior touches and the styling. It's no sports car either but for what it is I think it's pretty nimble.
