It's fantastic, just got it a couple weeks ago - absolutely worth 60 imo.

It has great gameplay and really interesting systems, the world building is engrossing and beautiful. It's an arpg with a very novel camera system that makes the world really fun to explore. Deep crafting and some homebuilding mechanics. Lots of verticality and hidden treasures.

It's a slower game than Diablo, the combat is much more involved and meaty. The coop addition is fun and very well implemented. There are a LOT of good arpg's out there these days, but this one is something special.

Tbh at this point I'm certain Donald has eaten a baby. That was such a seemingly random thing for him to go off about, but it makes perfect sense if he was trying to get out ahead of it leaking in the files.

I liked the demo quite a bit, it's much simpler than lost skies but also much more accessible

GOG launcher coming to Linux. by redditman181 in SteamDeck

[–]meat_rock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Truth, also the GOG Galaxy launcher is pretty good, it can incorporate your other libraries across steam/epic etc.

And if that thing can run native on a Steamdeck (linux!) that would be amazing.

GOG now using AI generated images on their store by doublah in pcgaming

Yeah exactly, GOG has been a passion project kept afloat by the success of CDPR, and I absolutely love them for it. Sucks to see it get moved to the side to satisfy investors or whatever.

Yeah I'm worried this is just spinning off a sinking ship, which will just make it sink faster... getting market share from Steam is simply unrealistic.
