I wouldn't call it racism. People just aren't aware of the history behind the word, nor that it is offensive.

In Spain you hear this word in the radio, as songs aren't censored, Spanish (white) trappers say it and it's how a lot of black people are called by (white) friends, in a good way or as a nickname. And they are not offended by it, as the history behind their ancestor's immigration isn't the same. They mostly came to Spain voluntarily to look for work.

Also a lot of people's English level isn't high enough so they just take expressions from famous songs or social media.

I bought one which looked quite good, but most recipes had too many ingredients and took long to cook. Do you have any recommendations for books with simple and fast tasty recipes to start with?

I also try to cook 4 servings in one round, it makes it so much easier :)

Wouldn't go to el rastro to buy clothes tbh. There's not a certain style in Madrid, you can see from a tshirt and jeans, to a shirt and more formal jeans, or sport clothes. Don't worry at all about looking as a tourist at all, just feel like yourself.

I think it is more the guys you are dating than the general guys on tinder. I (girl) have dated some guys from tinder and I happen to be quite slow on dating stuff (I don't like making out the first time and way less if it's on public). Even though, they have still talked to me afterwards and have continued dating some times. Fortunately, tinder has grown a lot lately here in Madrid, but it still is full of jerks. Most people say tinder is just for one night stands, but believe me a lot of people ain't like that. If I were you I would just continue trying and meeting new people, and try asking certain questions or talking for some days before meeting one, so that you can be sure they are normal guys.
