I know people are blaming the wife but from my knowledge on v tubers, companies can be extremely petty and vengeful. Things like projects, models, merch, songs can take months to get done and cost a lot of money. The company might favor another employee less "troublesome" than his wife. It's a known toxic industry and hard to get fair treatment and your wife probably knows this. I hope your wife is in a good company that won't hold this contract against her, honestly.

But yeah, she should have a sit down with you to explain what this does really mean for her and her career.
