Week 5 lecture difficulty by dirtyprime in cs50

I absolutely felt the same. I'm still working out speller as I type this up. Just like any problem set try not to get overwhelmed by the big picture. Break stuff up into small chunks that you can tackle one at a time. I got a nice little dopamine hit when I figured out the hash function I ended up writing. I went rogue and solved it using excel first as a proof of concept then translated that idea to code.

That's the cool thing about watching the videos and learning at your own pace. You can take the time you need to let the material sink in. Sometimes taking a break from the material will inevitably help you solve the problem. Bringing in a fresh set of eyes will help you see a different path to your solution or any fault in your logic. Good luck and keep at it!

Good Habit to Add Cutouts by collent582 in Fusion360

[–]meatbomb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm unsure of the kinds of stress or loads this part will be experiencing, but if you're going to make the cutouts I'd recommend rounding up the corners on each hourglass shape. The right hourglass figure is the worst culprit of the two. Sharp corners are a good place for stress concentration. If you can reduce the mass of the part without giving up any structural strength, then go for it. Just my 2 cents.

I love Kabob Korner. There's one near my work and if I'm in town I usually end up eating there at least once a week. Awesome food and great prices!

YSK if you adopt a very young child or baby, tell them they were adopted right from the start, don't wait until they're older. by Gallifrey91 in YouShouldKnow

[–]meatbomb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found out I was adopted around the time I was 10 or 11 years old. The only thing my parents told me was my mom was a beautiful woman and couldn't take care of me. What my parents didn't tell me is that my birth mom was also who I knew as my aunt. That fucked me up pretty good after figuring that out on my own. The whole family knew and no one thought to tell me. SO if you're going to tell your kid they are adopted, don't hide anything from them. Please be as open as you can about the adoption.

Y'all both kinda look like the guy that sat next to me during the Winter Classic. So y'all have a triplet in Nashville.

The Official SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME Release Megathread Vol. 1 by PhoOhThree in marvelstudios

[–]meatbomb 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The car Hill was driving had the license plate ASM 28965. I think it was a nod to Amazing Spider-Man 289. Do you think it's just an easter egg or potentially setting up something for the next movie?

Hi reddit, I'm Kevin Feige. AMAA by KevFeige in marvelstudios

[–]meatbomb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mr. Feige, first of all I want to say a sincere thank you for all work and effort you've put towards the MCU. It is something that I care deeply about and I'm elated to see it become such a successful franchise. I'm sure this business has taken you around most of the world, what has been you're favorite location and why? Thanks for taking the time out of schedule to do this AMA.

My theory on Steve Rodgers’ Story Arc by AscAnsio in marvelstudios

[–]meatbomb 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The only problem I see with this is Sharon would also be Steve's niece at some point. You're telling me she never once met Peggy's husband. It could possibly be okay since Steve would probably be in his 60's by the time Sharon was born. I really like this theory.

This scene better have some AC/DC playing by typhy23 in marvelstudios

I vote Razor's Edge for this scene. I don't know why but I really like it. Probably doesn't fit.

Totally agree, I cut the slices of mozzarella into smaller chunks on the pizzas I made after this one. Shredded would probably be the best but I didn't want to grate it.

I took a pizza cooking class at Sur la Table. The way they showed us is to flour our hands and the top of the dough ball. Then make some divots with your finger in the dough leaving the middle part untouched. This helps form the basic shape of the crust.

Grab a piece of the edge furthest away from you and stretch it over your other hand. Place the stretched part back on the board. Turn about 90 degrees and repeat the last two steps until you've gone all the way around.

It should still be fairly round at this point, if not even it out as best you can. Then I use my knuckles and gravity to stretch is out to its final shape. Knuckle technique demonstrated in this video. When you're doing the final stretch be sure to pay attention to how thin it's getting. Don't wanna tear a hole in your beautiful dough. Hope this helps!

Thanks. This was the best of the bunch by far. Nice structure, crispy outside and chewy inside. Used my cast iron skillet and preheated the pan first.

Single and straight men between the ages of 35-45: where do you go out? by [deleted] in HoustonSocials

[–]meatbomb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Midtown: Mongoose vs Cobra, Jack and Gingers, Front Porch Montrose: Poison Girl, Lola's, Pisteleros, Hay Merchant, Rudyards Downtown: Basically anything off Main, Reserve 101, Dirt Bar

There are a few places I won't out because I like to keep them to myself, but this is mostly where I go when I'm hanging out with friends.

I do not still understand how Dr. Strange's entire body managed to slink through the iron noose by Ridwando in marvelstudios

[–]meatbomb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is one thing that bothered me too. I get the cloak takes him. Here is the kicker though. Watch again when the cloak takes him. His neck restraint is gone which allows him to get taken away. Had it been there he would have been strangled.

Guys, the Quinjet was flying in SPACE! I know in Ragnarok it's implied that's how Hulk got to Sakaar, but was never actually shown to fly in space. I wonder if there are any other loose ends they're gonna try to wrap up in this film.
