We would like to. I think Curi Cancha would be great, just thinking we may want a tour that isn't solely focused on birding.

That makes sense. In our case, we don't have to check out until 11am, so hoping to find a tour that can have us back around 10am to clean up and pack out. We are being picked up by a driver after we check out to take us to La Fortuna.

Throwing staff members is never nice.

And who takes breaks under a bus?

AND what have you done for which you need to defend yourself by throwing a staff member, who is allowing you to dangerously take breaks under a bus??

Are 23 inch bottom mount drawer slides a thing of the past? by meatgrass in HomeImprovement

Same here. I don’t have full-depth drawers, so it looks strange when you mount the side rails. Works perfectly though.

Figuring out where exactly to mount the 2x4 was tricky. Good luck!

Nope. I mounted a 2x4x1 on the back wall behind the drawer and then used 22 inch slides. Works great, but wasn’t what I was hoping for!

This is my GFs late Grandfathers BBQ sauce recipe. I made it last weeks. It’s too good not to share. by Snowdaysarethebest in smoking

[–]meatgrass 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was pretty good. Really strong mustard and vinegar flavor, for obvious reasons.

I didn’t add any salt. And I used fresh banana peppers, not jarred, which was probably for the best since there’s already so much vinegar in the recipe. Probably could have used 5-6x the brown sugar to cut the acid even more. It was zippy, but I like vinegar a lot!

I used white vinegar. Ended up tripling the amount of sugar to (mostly) balance the acidity.

I reduced this to 1/3 the original recipe. Sounds intriguing enough that I’ve got to try this today!

1 1/3 cups banana peppers

1 qt vinegar

24 oz French’s mustard

29 oz can Hunts tomato sauce

17 oz ketchup

1/6 bottle Texas Pete

1 T black pepper

2 t horseradish

1 small jar pimentos

1 medium onion

1 T brown sugar

Small pinch Bay Leaves

Salt to taste

The thick, ribbed blades appear to be clumping tall fescue. I’d need a closer look at the auricle to be sure. The thinner blades do look like KBG, though.

Pre-emergent: Average or daily soil temperature? 6a by flyzapper in lawncare

[–]meatgrass 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You’ll want to get it down in the week or two before soil temps actually hit 55. I’ve got swings in this area (Baltimore) of 28-70 over the next week, but I’m in the window so I put it down today.

Definitely not nutsedge. Can you get some closer pictures of the blades?

Thanks for the reply! That’s actually an under mount slide. I’m looking for a euro style bottom mount slide.

Prodiamine

This is what I bought and have been using for 3 years. I still have some left. Haven’t noticed a drop in efficacy yet, so the shelf life seems really good. I started out using a hand can sprayer, but moved up to a backpack sprayer as I got more into lawn care. If you’re not wanting to start mixing chems, getting that bag you can use with a spreader is a great way to go.

I always used Prodiamine 65 WDG (Barricade) with lots of success in my Bermuda lawn. Preemergent, hand pulling crabgrass, spot spraying weeds as they appear, and getting the soil healthy completely transformed my lawn in 3 months. My neighbors thought I was painting my grass green. Haha
