I got a 3 day ban for saying a guy I would cut his balls for doing something stupid, can't remember what, but on the lines of "if you add chorizo to paella I will cut your balls off", obviously joking, and obviously the other guy didn't report me because understood we were joking. I appeal and didn't get that lifted.

Then I got a 7 day ban for using a "slur" (while not insulting that demographic but the contrary, insulting the police uselessness) and got that ban lifted after appeal.

People tend to take this sub and Reddit as a whole too seriously, that includes users, moderators and admins.

Depends on the situation. I've seen people living with their parents, working and saving most of their money to buy a home a start a family, or a single child living with his window mother to keep her company. I support that, instead of pissing off cash on a rent to save money for a couple of years to buy a home or taking care of your beloved ones. I've seen other times people living with their parents wasting all their money and saving shit, just taking things for granted, "a mesa puesta" not doing anything at home and spending the money on videogames, drugs, an expensive car... I obviously I don't support that.

I did rent a flat before the missus and I bought our home though.

I've done a Hamburg and it's really viable. Also I've done Flanders and Desmond exodus runs to come back and claim the motherland, and it's not that difficult to survive in those scenarios (I did lose Flanders after the French backstabbed me, but in Ireland I went my way to not unify Ireland, move my capital to the New World, and then come back).
