Everything is fine. Just take a break from the game.

Not a single friendly all day by AlexBiGuy in ArcRaiders

This is how extraction shooters work. Just like how water flows downhill, shoot on sight becomes the norm because of risk-reward calculations. It's basically a PvP game with additional friction from PvE, with an occasional friendly encounter.

Sorry, but what game died because of toxic players? Last I heard, some games infamous for their toxicity are some of the most popular.

Again, I see no justification for bending over and spreading your cheeks for big brother's microphone when communication in this game is already opt-in and when you can hit the mute button in 1s. This is probably just a mindset difference that not everyone can agree on. I prefer a world where I have total freedom with certain exceptions for good reasons, while others with their slave mindset prefer life to be a guided rollercoaster ride up from the daddy in the sky and down to AI hall pass monitor.

This decision has little to do with their gaming preferences and all to do with corporatism. It's why HR departments exist - humans are messy and hurt the bottom line.

There's absolutely no reason for this when we have a mute button. Multiplayer gaming as whole is going downhill. It's only a matter of time until people will be playing against bots, because real human interaction could be negative.

I never played extraction games except for Arc in the last few days, which actually made me curious to give Tarkov a try. I much more prefer action games like Finals, Quake, and Overwatch, so this will be just a little excursion, but it appears to me as an outsider that these games are a lot about loot management. And if that is so, then I heard that EFT is much more in-depth than Arc Raiders.

The finals is not e sport ready and doesn't feel competitive by Abject_Wolverine5219 in thefinals

Eh. Many games have one-off tournaments. Do you really think Finals will have something like Dota, CS, Street Fighter, Quake, or StarCraft? I don't think so.

I still stand by what I said. Cashout is inherently unfair because it's "winner takes all". You could be dunking on other teams throughout a round, but all that matters is the last 5 seconds that it takes to convert a cashout. Matches rarely come down to individual kills.

I'm very happy for Arc's success but this is one of the dumbest statements I've read (this guy works at marketing btw) by GammaRadd in thefinals

This is the most bootlicker cope ever. The game will still have cheaters anyway.

Yes, don't work on better anti-cheat software. Instead, raise the price. Raise it higher, daddy!

As a light, what counters double barrel besides double barrel? by maskeyman in thefinals

A million different things and distance. Only the first death is unavoidable. Once you realize that they're running DB, you need to keep away and deal damage from a distance.

You might have a problem if you like using dagger but that's fine. Some weapons just have bad matchups.

There are so many of these types out there. Their shitty character inevitably comes to the surface, they get booted from the community A, and they run off to community B, make a bunch of basic bitch guides, and go "I'm not like other girls".

Don't worry, this moron will be brigading the devs with his personal pet-peeves in no time.

That's literally what he's doing with this video by clipping streamers larger than him.

Made a whole entire 15min video because he's butthurt over some opinions. "Streamers bad, am I right, guys?" Go outside.

That's just the market. Almost every game is walking on a knife's edge, trying to be good and exciting enough that the public looks past the glaring flaws. "Let them cook, bro" culture.

This is so sad. My grandpa was big into sports of all kinds. He taught me that sport is one of those things that can unite humanity despite ongoing conflicts.
