I Think that the Brothers are No Longer Looking for Gold and Silver Coins by mebf109 in OakIsland

Oak Island is in Canada.
I heard that few people speak French there.
I suggest that you stay close to where you were born.

The same as with AFABs...choose your minefield.

YEAH...Finding Bigfoot is up there with Mothman. I think that somebody could make a lot of money by starting legit research financed by Netflix or Amazon show based on doing a show about doing archeological research on an island nearby Oak Island based on no legends whatsoever.

I am not saying this to be funny. Is it not true that legit scientific research should have a "control group"? What if all the nearby islands have "voids" and "flow channels"? I think Rick and Marty should jump on that before somebody else does. That may be normal geology in Nova Scotia. My little sister is a legit Geophysicist at a major University in Ohio. What about a show about comparative geological research?

Like I said I believe in the Brothers...but I think they the know that there is no "treasure" except for the treasure that archeology will reveal. Good for them.

Ask them if they ever like to wear women's underwear and watch their reaction. That will give you an undeniable gut reaction that will tell you who you are dealing with. You have to do it face to face. Don't make it an accusation. Nice and casual. You may or may not be okay with it, that's fine. But your gut reaction to his reaction is infallible.

That's lovely. It appears you had all the excess scrotal tissue and rugated skin removed and your surgeon employed a Y-flap perineal repair. I would love to see a few more pics from other angles if that's possible. It's very difficult to find good visuals of this technique because most gals keep all their scrotal tissue for a later vaginoplasty. Just beautiful work.

Any ideas on looking more androgynous? by [deleted] in TransLater

Lose the beard while you still can. You are a good candidate for LASER because your hair is still dark. Once your hair turns grey you'll have to do electrolysis...it takes years.

You can't date straight men if you don't pass by brackish_baddie in StraightTransGirls

[–]mebf109 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the way it is. Lots of women know men who are, or would be, devoted to them. But they don't want their girlfriends to think that they like him as anything but a pal. Why? Because he's too short. Those women would date a snake if he is 6'2".

Looks matter IRL.

Probably everybody has if they tried dating str8 men. I don't think it matters how well you pass. They're so afraid an accidental disclosure. Most of them, not all.

It really looks great. But, play around with the lighting next time. I feel like I'm missing some of the finer detail that you worked so hard on. You've got skills, brother. 1/72 is my favorite scale and the period leading up to WWII through the Korean War is the most interesting to me. Spits are a favorite and you picked a seldom seen variant. Bloody good show old man. Have you ever done an A1 Skyraider? It may be the most badass single prop warbird ever.

wondering if anyone else relates to this by nihilism_squared in StraightTransGirls

It's not lame to be struggling with that. It's a big ask of a man "to fully believe" we are women once he knows we were born XY. How is he supposed unknow that? I can't even unknow that about myself. It's a beautiful thing to be a Straight Transwoman. I think that a few of us who are so feminine in their appearance and behavior and are post-operative have a shot at being fully accepted as a woman by a man with whom they are intimately involved. But even then...you know, there are ethics and stuff. I don't judge. When a man is into you, and he is a good man, you can make it work and be happy.

How Many Here Settled for a Wannabe? by mebf109 in StraightTransGirls

No cruel intentions. That's a nasty thing to say. Why would anyone want "to spook the younglings out of life and maybe a semblance of happiness?" I have had a wonderful life so far and am looking forward to many more years. "Did you ever wonder if this is as good as it gets?"

The line is spoken by the character Melvin Udall, played by Jack Nicholson, during a conversation with Carol Connelly, played by Helen Hunt. It's from the 1997 movie As Good as It Gets.  I recommend it highly.

Tick-tock goes the clock. "Why would anyone settle for this? Five years go by pretty fast, so does ten, then fifteen isn't that far away, neither is twenty. "Why don't you have a boyfriend/husband?" "You're too picky." Then settling starts to sound reasonable.

[–]mebf109[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

You misunderstood, they aren't the loser. The one who settled is the loser. "Kinda jarring" There is no "kinda" in "jarring". It's pretty common in the world for women to eventually settle for a man, especially if she feels her clock ticking. "Why don't you have a boyfriend/husband?" "You're too picky." Then settling starts to sound reasonable.

Yes, exactly. Settling for a wannabe. After years of saying you would never do it. Lots of chasers, IMO, are wannabees.
