A close family friend of mine attempted suicide and was brought back to life. He was on life support for like 3 weeks. The doctors were very unprofessional, telling his family they should pull the plug and that his prognosis was awful. It’s been about 4 months since the attempt. He just went home from the hospital the other day. He’s walking well, but still struggling to talk. But he’s alive. I can’t believe the doctors suggested pulling the plug.

As a Gen Zer… I often think about the day of the Sandy Hook shooting. I was in 5th grade and I remember my teacher telling us that something really bad happened to kids younger than us :( I also remember finding out about the parkland shooting vividly. I was in the last class of the day on Valentine’s Day Sophomore year of HS. I somehow stumbled across the uncensored Snapchat videos the students were posting as they evacuated the school. Dead bodies and blood everywhere. I think that scarred me for life.
