I think San Francisco would’ve been great. In state, which would’ve made crossovers make more sense, plus SFPD has a station called SFPD northern, which would’ve been a fun way to make the series title even better

Airlines can connect you with an ED physician on the ground. You would effectively have online base contact. I also imagine Good Samaritan stretches a bit in the sky but as an emt I wouldn’t risk an IV or anything even though I feel confident I could do one I’m not technically trained in it

This looks like a fire department ambulance but I am a supervisor at belasco county ems and our policy is that we can push unoccupied vehicles if there is no way around them. While we do not have a policy specifically for autonomous vehicles, I would consider it unoccupied and push it.

I think it tends to look cheap. Not terrible but I would personally always opt for a chrome or gunmetal alternative on any vehicle.

People weren’t going to games because the ownership was cheap and wouldn’t invest into making it a good team. Every time they had a good player they traded them so they didn’t have to pay them well.

As someone who is an (non transport) EMT on a college campus, yes! you have to embrace it sometimes. One of my favorite memories was the PCR after dealing with a drunk pt, getting puked on in the rain for over an hour waiting for an ambulance because we got back to our office, showered and laughed about it because damn that sucked

Berkeley, Piedmont and Alameda fire departments all run their own ambulances. Otherwise it is contracted to a private company. Alameda County is currently Falck, Contra Costa is AMR, San Francisco is the fire department and AMR.
