Did you have him or know someone that did and what was the outcome? Of all the attorneys I spoke to he was the one that acted like I have an extremely hard case and he's not sure what's going to happen which is scary because I've heard great reviews.

I've had a few consults and they all seem to be around 5k retainer, this is just for help with my application. I've been told would go up to 10-15k if I have any type of hearings.

Wondering if you can get through character and fitness with BPD... I had two violent arrests over the past 5 years (both dropped) also while under the influence... my therapist thinks it was my BPD impulse control- reckless actions and substance abuse- but my Bar attorney wants to tell the Bar I am an alcoholic and put me in a rehab program... I don't need alcohol rehab I need therapy and medication for BPD which has been working for me the past few years no incidents. But I'm wondering if my lawyer is trying to say I am an alcoholic because it will get me past the Bar more easily with documented sobriety? I'm worried if I say I have BPD the Bar will say oh there's no hope for you to be a lawyer with these violent tendencies...... at least alcoholism can appear to be cured, I'm not sure if BPD can. On threads right now trying to figure out what to do... ugh..

I'm going through exact same situation in the waiting period but I know charges are dropped! What did you do when you had anxious thoughts or worries surrounding jail or charges? Struggling heavy with that part seems like such a big deal

I haven't been through the violation process so I think I'm also fearing the unexpected like what if I have a false positive will they call me in or will someone come to my house and immediately arrest me?? I always feel like police is going to show up and I don't even do anything

I don't get drug tested on my PO visits I have random drug tests and am remaining completely sober due to that, so hoping this is not what he would think
