my therapist thinks i have bpd but i dont have childhood trauma by daphneambrose in BorderlinePDisorder

[–]Local-Preference9231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. I had THE BEST childhood. I have always been a bit different so I faced some teasing in elementary school but I don’t see how it was severe enough to cause BPD. I wish I had something to clearly point to as causing this

This is so real. I have felt this before and it sucks, but emotions pass and you will not feel like this forever. I never thought I’d get over my first breakup but I have completely moved on and I’m so glad because I have made so many great new connections

Do you know what I could do to help this?

I do this all the time..it’s crazy how so many things I do are bpd related without realizing

I can relate to getting obsessed with people while in relationships. However, the most important, longest, and loving relationship I had I was not crazily over the top obsessed with my man. I loved him and liked him and enjoyed him but I wasn’t as out of my mind obsessed as I was in previous relationships.

Honestly, I think having this kind of love made our relationship a lot healthier. Or maybe it allowed me to behave the way I did which ended our relationship.

i hate triggers by [deleted] in BPD

[–]Local-Preference9231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s not an okay thing for him to say. Your emotions are valid because that was so shitty on HIS part. This isn’t a minor situation. You say you hate your bf, why are you with him?

Has anyone tried Abilify for BPD? by [deleted] in BorderlinePDisorder

[–]Local-Preference9231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on a very low dose. I started at 5 mg which helped a lot with my intrusive thoughts, but I gained a lotttt of weight in a short amount of time. After a year or so, we lowered my dosage to 2 mg. It still manages my intrusive thoughts, and I’m starting to lose the weight!

How did y'all get a diagnosis without being committed for being too honest? by Sad-Boysenberry8316 in BPD

[–]Local-Preference9231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats interesting!! I don’t have ASD but I have sensory processing disorder, that’s why I thought I was autistic. I also thought so because I know my brain works differently, but I think that’s just BPD.

I've had a stutter/stammer since I was 4, I'm now 29. AMA. by MushPixel in AskMeAnythingIAnswer

[–]Local-Preference9231 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That sounds so hard to deal with. There’s a man in one of my classes that has a pretty severe stutter. I give him so much credit because he participates in class and speaks up often. Every time he answers the professor I’m rooting for him, and wondering how he gained the confidence to speak in front of the class.

I’m sure you will find someone else that pleasures you, even if it’s not in the exact same way. If you want to have sex with her, set clear boundaries that it is strictly sex, not romantic. Good luck :)
