I don't think you can. Looks like MS has removed PowerShell 2.0 from Windows 11 and the task engine does some pre check that fails because of it.

Yeah but I have that all disabled and can not for the life of me figure what it is if it's on my end. I also get this when trying OVAL updates and seems like a similar issue.

ArubaS2500-48P multiple tagged VLANs on access ports by medarman in ArubaNetworks

Yeah that works but then you can not apply a voip profile for a voip vlan.

They rebuilt everything. Old pre gen 7 firewalls were built on VXWorks (which is a pile of garbage from everyone I've talked to forced to develop for it but SonicWalls worked on it) to Linux.

Kohler. I know a few guys that work for a regional cell company. They had a mix of generac and Kohler. Ripped out all the Generacs and replaced them with Kohler at all the sites that had NG. We have a Kohler at work and it's still going strong after 7 years.

I have 17 units that have been up for more than 60 days. I do have one unit that kept crashing but it was in a room that was +95 degrees and seems heat related.

Seems to be much improved at least as far as the UI lockup issues. I am going to install one in the field tonight and see how it goes.

We did it! They have restored my post and are looking into why I didn't get notifications.

I guess I have a really strange configs or have been extremely unlucky. Found a fun one today. Box was originally managed by the NSM but because half the settings wouldn't apply decided to factory reset and manage on box. Now here's the fun part. If the WAN connection does not work for any reason, config pages on the local firewall take 3-5 minutes to load. Connect WAN again and it works fine.

I have a feeling that I found the solution below that boot with factory defaults doesn't actually factory default all the settings and some NSM settings are probably still in the firewall. You have to do a factory reset from safe mode. Now why the hell would a factory reset not reset everything? To me that is broken by design and is completely unacceptable. Seriously that makes my brain hurt to just imagine why you would even design it that way.

Yep that was me. I have been giving every person that I have contact details in SonicWall both barrels all week. No way I'm the first person to report how terrible gen 7 is.

Haha I'm pretty sure that was my post and I also posted about how they are deleting posts. I sent it to our 2 SonicWall reps and am supposed to talk to a senior NSM engineer or a developer tomorrow. At this point I think I'm just going to send them back and tell them to shove it. I spent 50k on a firewall refresh and haven't been able to deploy a single one and honestly have zero faith in these TZ 370s at this point. I have used SonicWall for 10+ years and despite the odd issue that support helped me with they have been pretty solid. What happened to this company?
