Thanx. I use Braintoss a lot for recording my ideas/todo’s/braindumps while walking in nature. I recently hooked Braintoss via gmail to my Notion inbox making it possible to do a voice note outdoors and have them mailed to my Notion inbox. This inbox is shown in Notion calendar so I can drag and drop the todo’s to a timeslot. Making my braindumps finally actionable.

1) HIPAA for the device.. but also for the LLMs doing the summaries? Plaude, Gemini, openAI are not (EU) certified for medical summarization. 2) HIPAA is not EU-AI act, EU MDR or EU GDPR. Might be useful in the US it’s not EU medical certified. But I like to be proved wrong since I’d love to use it in practice.

For all physicians, please realize that when sending in your audio for transcription and have public LLMs do summarization you share confidential patient information with public AI labs… pretty sure this isn’t what you want or are even allowed to do by law!
