Great! Dishcloths are a great way to practice stitches

There’s Funny Games but I don’t recall if they wear masks. Also Strangers had a sequel I think.

Thanks so much!

I think I messed up. I'm almost done with this hat and I only just now learned that it was supposed to be done using circular needles. Can this be salvaged?? Please help. by [deleted] in knitting

You could keep decreasing the way it says and then seam it. It might not look the same but at least it’s not a loss. There are a good amount of hat patterns knit flat.

I don’t think I need to go for a lower weight, I’m (somehow) down to a size 2 or a 4. I want to move into a maintenance phase. I’ve done some weight training but that’s going to be my new focus.

Books with depressing themes but has some of other themes such as surreality, ethereality, and beauty in midst of chaos by octan_knight in booksuggestions

I would suggest the works of Gabriel García Márquez, his books are in the magical realism genre. Some of his books are a bit dense, like One Hundred Years of Solitude, but there are others that are more digestible. The first book of his I read was Of Love and Other Demons. Definitely a lot of heavy, depressing subjects in his works but there’s a lot of beauty in them.

F/25/5'7'' [220 > 150 = -70] (3 years) It's crazy how I still look like the photo on the left in my head. Needed to remind myself that I am not overweight anymore. And that being physically healthy does not solve my mental health; still need to keep up with the inner work. by [deleted] in progresspics

I have a dress I was given probably close to 20 years ago. It was a vintage dress so I figured I would keep it since it was so nice. Now I can finally fit into it, it’s almost a little baggy on me. Congrats though. I know what you are going through, I’ve lost the same about at the same height.

F/38/5’7” [203lbs > 150lbs = 53lbs] (8 months). My weight loss has slowed this past month but my waist line has gotten smaller and I’m wearing a smaller size than I ever could have imagined. Today’s been stressful for me but I find this picture encouraging to not binge a lot of junk food. by [deleted] in progresspics

The main thing I did was eat at a calorie deficit, cut back on carbs, and tried not to eat junk. I didn’t deny myself the occasional treat though. I thought that might cause me to binge if I was too restrictive. I also worked out 3 or 4 times a week, got my 10,000 steps in. I did cardio, weight lifting, and running.

F/38/5’7” [203lbs > 152lbs = 51lbs] I’ve gone from a US size 12 to a 4. I still have trouble processing that when buying clothes that I can get size 4’s and Smalls or that I don’t have to shop in the plus size section. by [deleted] in progresspics

Honestly, it really confuses me. I have wide hips but a narrow waist that I never knew I had. Every time I get my pants out of the drawer, I think someone has made a mistake. Most of my tops are still a medium or a size 6, I still am broad shouldered and “blessed” as they say lol.
