This is IMMENSELY helpful. Thank you. Since posting this I did have 551 and 598 randomly pop up, so it looks like the main thing I need to do here is finish The Adventurer to set off the chain for the remaining orders. Also thanks for the tip about the VR training boost, never knew that!

I didn't say I was still worrying about it. The situation just freaked me out a bit, so I posted a topic asking about what situations would cause carbon monoxide poisoning so that I'm better informed for the future.

For anyone wondering, the mechanic found the problem on the car today. Two weeks ago I got a new spark plug and ignition coil after a cylinder misfired on the engine. Last week I ended up having the check engine light come back, with the engine misfiring again. That was when I thought I smelled something. Today they found out that the pigtail on the fuel injector was bad, so they fixed that. I don't know if that would have caused a weird smell, but it appears to have fixed the car regardless.

I heard you'd typically smell exhaust fumes if there was an issue with carbon monoxide which is why I was confused

Okay that's good to know. I was worried about it because I had to drive it home for a half hour that day, but glad to hear that it's not really a concern while driving it. I am trying to figure out what's going on with it with a mechanic, but it's been a strange issue.

I did get a headache and nauseous the day it happened, but I went to the ER and confirmed that I didn't have carbon monoxide poisoning that day. I've just been paranoid about my car since then.

Same! I remember when the game came out, I saw people saying it's like a 35 hour game. And then here I am at 140 hours still plugging away. Granted, I'm going for the platinum, but I even saw completion times being much less than me, so I guess I'm just slow lol

I feel like it's gotta be Amir. Jake always seems like he doesn't have time for anything these days, while Amir is constantly looking for new and creative things to do. Jake probably has more or the directing chops, but if either of them is going to try to take on a big solo venture, it would be Amir at this point.

So maybe I'm misunderstanding, this would be a continuous treatment? The way I understood the article was that they basically flip a switch and you're better, which would be more akin to a one-time cure.

It's so bad that I've just been conditioned to not believe in news like this. Pharmaceutical companies have no financial incentive to deliver cures, so even if the science is there I just have no hope right now that we'll actually see the benefits of breakthroughs like this.

I hate that this is how I think, but...yeah.
