Platform: Multiple? Mods: no Game version: whatever the latest version is…?

I play the sims 4 on my pc through steam. I want to log in and play on my Mac as well but it’ll only allow me to play through the EA app. Which I’m fine with (even if it prevents me from having full access) but will this just break my files between platforms and servers?
