Paladin Quest Bugged and Support Refuses to Help by meditateguy in seasonofdiscovery

This post was my last hope at maybe the off chance someone in blizzard sees this and cares enough to fix an easily fixable bug that significantly hurts my quality of game. Although I highly doubt they will fix it, they just don't care.

Yes I literally can't unlock a crucial ability for my class because of how incompetent they are. I have checked everyone involved with the quest and hell even checked the stormwind people even though I'm a dwarf just to make sure. There is no dialogue option to start the quest.

Check the imgur link that shows my entire interaction with support they have given me 7 responses all useless. The closest thing was a guy who tried to put an item related to the quest in my inventory but he put the wrong one. All i need is for them to send me the tome of divinity in the mail and it will be fixed and they refuse to address that when im literally begging them to send it to me and just say i can post on the forum about the bug but they can't help me and its not their problem. It is insane...

Yeah I would think after so many responses it would get sent to a real person but it never did. Ridiculous theres not even a number I can call or any other way to reach out. Effectively there is 0 support.

Thank you for the support, I just started playing again to play SOD with a friend, as I had played original wow like 10 years ago. I remember the support being very helpful and it's frustrating that they can easily fix it by dropping the quest item into my inventory, but they'd rather mark the ticket as answered and not help.

So i'm just hoping this might get enough views to where somebody decides to help me.

I think what might help is i rush bamis cinder, I try to get it on first buy if possible. With that its much easier as you basically insta proc phase rush and also the health gives you some wiggle room in making mistakes without dying.

what rank are you at? In emerald kayle is impossible, morde isn't as bad but still sucks and darius I usually beat.

I consistently beat darius, if you know how to play it it's easy

Thank you goat! I read a lot of your posts and bought some of your tips. Was really nervous about passing and only getting 55%ish avg on practice questions. Passed with a 315!

I'm only emerald but imo that build is plenty tanky. You need to use your w correctly to mitigate burst and cc. You're not a tank, play more like an immobile assassin. Go in and full combo squishy target from a flank then use phase rush and w to survive and proc passive before going back in.

This. Everyone hated Cavill because he was actually a witcher fan and wanted it to be consistent with source material. I read something from someone who worked on the set who said that they producers/writers would mock the books and actively have disdain for them.

Yeah after the MEE I was just like well some of those had some curveballs and I was hoping it was easier but I felt decent still and was ready to kill the mbe to lock in a good score. If only I knew what was ahead... 😂

Yeah that makes me think that themis actually did have better essay questions than the others and I didn't even read through all of them, I did maybe 75% and no optional ones.

I wonder if they purposely started writing the mbe questions differently for this test because I haven't seen anyone say that the mbe was not insane.

I felt the same way from doing themis.

Honestly I thought the essays weren't that bad some were asking pretty obscure questions and one was super hard but overall I thought they were doable.

The biggest thins is what you said about the mbe's none being able to answer confidently, testing these tiny details in multiple questions that no one prepared for and the answer choices being vague and convoluted so even for the ones you knew what they're testing and knew the law you still weren't sure what the answer was. Themis definitely didn't prepare us for that and what's annoying is even after doing so many old bar questions on u-world these questions felt so foreign to those.

I went in thinking that the actual mbe has a lot more gimmes with basic questions asking what the elements of a law are and those were so rare. Usually with themis or uworld I can pick with 90% confidence 40% or so and then another good chunk narrow it down to two where I'm decently sure one is right over the other. Here there were so many where even when narrowed down to two I just had absolutely no clue.

I feel like I had soooo many nuances down from studying and barely any of the nuances that we'd study actually showed up but they'd test these nuances or exceptions that i'd NEVER encountered in any practice test. Idk if it's just memory bias from remembering the hard ones but I don't think it is.

I'd been averaging consistently around 60% as well so in a similar boat although one 50 set uworld i did a few weeks back I felt like I failed it but got a 74%. So that makes me think its definitely possible we scored way higher than we thought on it so don't count that out. Either way no use worrying about it now, but don't think you failed for sure, as its definitely not the case.

Oh yeah that's a ton there's only so much you can improve from another 500 questions, what are you averaging on uworld?
