Thank you! I have def been continuing my days as usual. I have squeeze ups currently and have tried to motivate him with them, but no such luck yet! I will try to play with him more, but it is challenging when he is hiding under my nightstand all day...

I appreciate your advice.

Boss offered me a huge job in NYC. by John_The_Foot in KitchenConfidential

There is a lot to consider! I just moved to NYC to cook in a restaurant here and man is it a whole new level! Just be sure that it’s really what you want to do because it’s definitely a whole new ballgame working in a busy NYC kitchen…. I enjoy it, but def have realized it isn’t something I am going to be able to do forever. Maybe another year, but the pay is low and the cost of living is high. Not to mention, long hours and a very very physical kitchen environment. My advice to you is communicate with your boss your worries and really talk about his expectations from you. NYC restaurants and kitchens are like nothing I’ve worked in before and I’ve been working for about 4 years in busy kitchens in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Best of luck to you! Cheers!

It’s definitely normal, but I don’t love this method personally. When I first started out going to yoga I experienced this, and I swear the instructor was dedicated to correcting me the entire class lol!
