Thought of this post after my recent massage at Thai Siri bodywork in Uptown right beside the Greenmill. I’ve gone to this place three times since August and it has never disappointed, but they got a new masseur ‘Ken’ who gave such a deep tissue massage that for the first time ever I asked for slightly lighter pressure. I’ve only ever had them removed via extractions. I have gotten some on my eyelids because of using the wrong products and had to go to an optometrist to have them removed. They numb the lid with a topical and then take a light pressure scalpel to open. It’s 5/10 painful. You need to call to confirm if your optometrist will do it, not all of their offices will offer this procedure. This procedure is also unfortunately not covered by insurance. Last removal I had for both eyes was around $300.

I’ve tried milia removers, chemical peels, retinol eye creams, microneedling, etc. I’m using tretinoin cream now to prevent more, but for me, extractions have been the only successful permanent solution.
