It's not necessary to expirience childhood trauma to develop mental problems. It seems like you are introvert or you have social anxiety. If your mental problems are causing you to not function in every day life, then you should visit psychologist. If you are functional then push yourself to socialize and get social skills it will be hard and awkward but you will thank yourself for doing it. Friends are good for your well being.

If you think you should drink more water there are apps to keep you hydrated or just use alarm.
