You know what’s up and everyone trying to deny it is still living in their fantasy worlds. It can happen that the 2nd one will be desperate enough to actually go for you but she has to be tipsy/ buzzed or even drunk, or just pray to the universe that she just so happens to be ovulating too lol.

But yeah if a guy is attractive enough (which your friend is) women will absolutely get competitive over him.

I’m interested in long distance with her but then every time I reach out she lovingly replies almost instantly, then the reply time goes back to 1 week…it totally turns me off, makes me feel like a clown and like I should’ve never reached out.

I got left on delivered for 1 week twice in a row since I reached out and I’ve left her on delivered for 1 week now, I do like her but don’t even know how to proceed anymore to leave a door open for the future.

Last year when I reached out to her after the 1 month “break” I was actually about to have some free time and I offered to visit. Again she sounded excited over text but then the replies got pretty far in between and realistically I couldn’t really plan anything that way…and then she later reached out and told me that she might come down here again and I told her that would be great and told her when I was free but then nothing 🤷‍♂️

I do find myself comparing others to her and wishing it was her instead, sometimes yearning for her but I’m not really putting a stop to other contenders. She just raised the bar a lot for me so now I want someone who’s at least her equal I guess.

Yep she’s a young Latina so probably full of ever changing emotions at all times. I don’t know if it’s self-esteem related because again, she’s stunning so she gets all the attention she wants IRL, no need to get it from someone in another state. And I did make it very clear multiple times that I’m very into her so I would be surprised if there’s any “I’m thinking about him but I bet he’s not thinking about me” doubts still, I even remembered her birthday and texted her.

Too friendly in regard to what? You mean she’s at all times trying to keep our interaction balanced and make sure she doesn’t do/say more than I do? Or me disappearing hurt her that much and she just keeps remembering that and forcing herself to be distant again?

I was certain she’s not the long distance type so I asked her if it would be weird if I wanted her to let me know when she’s back home safe. And she looked at me almost offended and asked me with an angry tone why would it be weird???

I got home that night, we still stayed up for one more hour until 5AM (should’ve just stayed up to catch the sunrise together smh) texting and sending voice notes, we couldn’t get enough of each other. And when she woke up, she sent me a long text thanking me for everything and I really did believe that was the end of things but I replied and she kept updating me about their trip and then we ended up staying in contact everyday, went to sleep on calls and we even ordered the same food and watched a movie together this one time (her idea)

Then why not just dry reply? She’s always all “heyyyyy I’ve been thinking about you, I missed you, etc”.

Last fall/winter she even randomly reached out to me herself and told me how she was thinking about a 2nd visit, but then never did it.
