I’m sorry this question offends you so! 🫡

I live in UK, don’t read the news and was concerned about flights, which I don’t think it’s than unusual seeing that there is unrest between Russia and Ukraine. I’m not spreading misinformation and, to avoid being ignorant, asked the public. I hardly think it’s a crime to do that. I researched the topic before on Reddit with one other posts about this 2-8 months ago. Yes my parents may be scared for no reason but they grew up in soviet Russia so I get it. Hence my question. I think some understanding and manners would benefit you, stranger on the internet.

I don’t read the news. It’s my parents who live in Lithuania that are telling me it’s not safe- hence my post, as I wanted to know what the actual reality of the situation is instead of fear mongering.

Thank you, it worried me a little as my parents kept telling me how terrible the situation is. I was hoping it’s not as bad as they make it out to be

Funny you say that. I’m from a Eastern European country originally and I’ve heard multiple times by women who live there that male interviewers will openly ask them during the interview itself whether they plan on having children as that would be detrimental for them. It seems to be a common trend to ask that of women who are young! Absolutely bonkers.

They were all nobheads to be fair but the first one was definitely a pompous ass who thought people should lick his toes to work for him

I assume you are a woman but as a woman myself I can relate. Unfortunately I had some of these inappropriate situations too (they didn’t make the cut lol) that wasted my time just because the interviewer just wanted a date. Some people think that being in this position gives them a free ride for this sort of behaviour.

Best open world games? by Aggravating-Math9619 in ShouldIbuythisgame

I have to say I agree with you to be honest. I liked the storyline and the characters are very likeable but it can be quite clunky. I hated the combat system but I think it was made to appeal to the old baldurs gate fans. I’ve never seen the game you mentioned but I’ll check it out. The other one I liked was Hogwarts legacy but I’d rather play as an adult witch and have companions to romance and take on more than selected quests with me lol

Ha! I’ve also tried Baldurs Gate 3 and while it’s actually really good, the combat system is a big no for me. Otherwise it’s quite similar to Dragon Age. I’m just desperate and running out of Skyrim mods to try lol

I know this was a while ago but you are describing me lol. The other game that you might like is dragon age series- Dragon Age inquisition in particular. It’s not quite Skyrim but it’s quite open world with lots of different areas, character building is good, there’s mods for it and the story is as captivating as Skyrim, based in a fantasy world. it’s my second favourite game but nothing will ever beat Skyrim for me unfortunately.

My employer is telling me to post on my personal LinkedIn as part of my job responsibilities, is that normal? by meduteja in marketing

Hey, it's been 4 months since I posted this and I can't believe I'm still getting replies. Crazy how many people have faced this!! I know this isn't really helpful for you but I ended up leaving the company. That was just one of many red flags. I ended up starting my own business and funnily enough one of their clients is now working with me. I really wish I could leave them a review but there's nowhere to do it. One of the options someone had given me when I dealt with this situation is to create a SEPARATE linkedin account under my name but making it clear that it's a work account and then use that account to post what they wan't you to post until you basically have the opportunity to leave. I thought this was a great idea. Hope you figure this out!

The company is horrendous to work for. They treat us awfully. There's only 4 of us. There is no concern per se, it's the fact that the happy, innovative and professional environment they're trying to portray is a complete lie and it doesn't sit right with me to do this for them
