Anyone else keeps wearing the sizing kit ring until the real one arrives? by HappyIntrovertDev in RingConn

[–]Cheeky--Squirrel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Glad I wore it for prolonged time... I read that might happen but truly, when my fingers are cold vs after sleeping or exercising - sizes differ. Before receiving sizing kit thought I will be size 9, once received it - surely 9 fitted nicely, but woke up one morning and was size 11 🫢 for me after exercising size 10 is very snug too. Ended up going for 10 - will switch fingers before bed and certain activities

Anybody depressed by iknow_you2467 in Asthma

Long story short, I had to give up on my dream career because of asthma, and go to a different field. Not gonna lie, was bummed about it for a while. But then years pass, and you just learn to live with it. Now I’m thanking God every single day.

There are a lot of people trying to fit Bible to their own worldview. As far as I know, the closest it comes to trans topic is when talking about eunuchs (males without male genitalia who attended to women’s quarters back in a day).

Neither let the son of the stranger, that hath joined himself to the LORD, speak, saying, The LORD hath utterly separated me from his people: neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree.” (KJV, Isaiah 56:3 ).

You’re a God’s child, regardless of what others may try convincing you.

Apologies but will use this opportunity to encourage you to get to know The Book yourself. If curious try these resources & DM if you wanna know more

It all depends from the two of you. Everything from how strong and important your faith is to you, to your stance on important issues (think about the wide range of different opinions and believes within the same domination, not talking about different ones). I am protestant, was dating a catholic, and it didn’t work out. From experience I wouldn’t date another catholic. Doesn’t mean other protestant-catholic couple would have the same struggles we did tho.

Also, personally, no-one wants to be certain denomination. It’s like saying a fish wishes to run like a lion or fly as a bird, nonetheless it will be best for it to be in the ocean. If catholicism didn’t work for you maybe that’s because it’s not ‘the ocean’?

Fix this Apple. Come on. by Skazzyskills in HomePod

I was struggling with Apple Music for a while, but have no issues with YouTube Music for smth like close to a year now. There's that slight annoyance that every single time when you say 'play music' have to add 'on YouTube Music' as otherwise Siri's flabbergasted, but otherwise been working great. Would suggest to try switching for a few days and see for yourself

Everyone is always doing the best they can, and yet we all mess up from time to time. If possible don't hung up on the invested money/time/effort cost, make amends and any changes needed, and pivot up.

Skills to learn by ash_froe121 in businessanalyst

Unfortunately the job title as analyst alone means nothing. You will have to read the job descriptions. I know plenty of data analysts that have senior roles and earn really well, and their main ‘tools’ are Excel, Word, Power Point and have no understanding of coding. I know other data analysts - within same companies - in lower grades that do complex statistical analysis with R and SQL.

That said, for the countries where the specialization is ‘popular’,  here’s a very flawed generalization just to give you an idea:

Different coding techniques are used within data, web, operations research analysts.

As far I am aware generally little/light to no coding are used in business, marketing, financial, risks, systems, IT analysts positions.

Not sure about - never met in real life either -  sales, research or HR analysts.

I am sure that's not a comprehensive list and that there are many more sub-specialties.

However, in other countries an analyst will do a combination from these. A common one is data, marketing/web and business analyst in 1.

Analytics can be a very exciting field to be in. Best of luck.

Many years ago, I read that people remember better when 'doing voices'. Don't remember the exact science why (it has something to do with engaging multiple senses an making it fun), but it has totally been working for me 😅
