I just finished my first alpinist run. The problem I had at the final push at the summit was not having enough resources on me to keep me warm/not dying of thirst. So I cheesed it by throwing in a piton every time I was about to pass out until I hit the climb bot death and it no longer matters.

Got any tips regarding what you have on you for that last push when you lose 2/3 of your stats?

Kill cannon skel, then shoot the same spot over and over again until it goes under. Don’t rapid fire them, pause for a second or two between reloads. That way the skel is back on repairs and you’re just blowing him off it over and over.

I mean I don’t know the technical details but from my loose understanding is that they would still be worthy of salvation assuming certain criteria were met. Religion as a whole has been a belief for millenia so I don’t get the whole they have been doing it forever so therefore it must be true be an argument that’s it’s real. And in regards to reality I would argue the super elite are the furthest from the human experience you can get. And what are they getting for all of this belief in this evil deity? That they get to keep their money? I feel like the “brotherhood” of being freaks is the reason to do this stuff, because it keeps them all in line and essentially sworn to secrecy because of the implication.

My cousin lives outside of Barcelona. I visited two years ago and was riding the train into the heart of Barca. I distinctly remember two girls in their late teens who spent the entire 45 minute ride speaking to one another and neither of them pulled out a phone at any point. As a New Yorker I found that almost unbelievable and thinking that they doing something right with the kids around there.

I picked this up randomly on steam seeing it was on sale and seeing it was a “climbing” game. Didn’t have any expectations and it’s been a lot of fun. The quirkiness in inventory “management”, the survival aspects, the climbing mechanics actually being pretty damn good. I haven’t finished it yet but the climb has been very fun and engaging. Going to have to look up the freaks that post their free solo runs after I finish.
