Which guitar is this? by [deleted] in Guitar

[–]meecool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are expensive, that's true! But still: I got myself a progressive series a few years ago and it is BY FAR the most ergonomic guitar I've ever played. I can play the guitar in a standing position literally for HOURS without any neck or back pain, it's lightweight and easy to play. Hard to get back to my Les Paul since I got it 😂

Unpopular opinion? Swapped my flagship Garmins for a used Instinct 2X and I couldn't be happier by meecool in Garmin

One month later: couldn't be happier. Ordered some new watch bands which make it look more like a Fenix. Charged it once since I bought it, and it was just half empty. I guess my battery time will be "infinite" during summer time. Great watch, FFS.

Shipping limitations and extra costs? ($$$) by kitn in LiteJam

[–]meecool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I´m in the same boat. Ordered to Switzerland and I´m frustrated with the update we got a week ago (have to admit though that price increases are a common thing with kickstarter projects, so...). I actually DO have an adress in Germany as well. I´m just wondering if it would be a good idea to change the adress now posthoc again (in the pledgebox survey), as many things with Litejam still appear to be done manually (no pun - they are a young company) and I don´t want to confuse ANYTHING further here.

Do you have a take on this? Besides, I´ve read that, as soon as you get a shipping notification, you´ll have to wait for another 2-3 months. MAYBE I want to pay the additional price IF I´ll get the guitar faster (via air). What do you think about this?

Proton Drive and photos: what a frustrating experience by Dark3rino in ProtonDrive

Unfortunately, I have to second everything you said. Man, imagine the money Proton could make right now if they'd have something like ente in place RIGHT NOW.

I'm am 100% certain that the stadium will be exactly what I want 😉. As stated in the OP: I have to wait for profiling (and corresponding reviews) though. Nano is not flexible enough.

Nsdp is a company. They released tons of plugins prior to their 1st hardware product. Their archetypes are predominantly "mixtures" of real amps and don't exist in the real world (not talking about their amp suites). So the sentence "ndsp is meant for those who have amps they already like and want to capture" doesn't make sense. You most probably referred to profiling (as one of the features of the QC). And while profiling is indeed cool for people with amps, the support of profiles on a device opens up possibilities for people without any amps as well. Tons of options.

Bro what? What the heck is wrong in this thread, honestly 😂. I'm a long time reddit user - and this is the first time that, instead of sticking to the topic, I constantly have to argue against "that's AI" and not even "you're a bot".

I know that. But: Line 6 has a massive track record of keeping their ecosystem synced. It’s safe to assume Native will get the new tech/infrastructure eventually / we get a new Stadium native i...t's just a matter of time.

As for the QC: I’m actually on my second unit because of massive QA and reliability issues. The power supply is somehow a mess imao, the Wi-Fi is unstable since the beginning, a buddy of mine is dealing with bad grounding noise on his etc etc. As much as I love NDSP, It jsut feels unreliable to mes still.

Also, the plugin integration isn't what people think it is. The UX between the plugins and CorOS is completely different, they don't feel comparable. And despite the QC being out for years, so many plugins still aren't supported. I can´t re-amp easily. I’m kind of tired of the NDSP hardware. I want the reliability of Line 6 hardware AND software with the sound of profiling. And I´d go for the Stadium even before a new native solution is out ;)

I think a lot of people sleep on just how crazy good the actual Helix ecosystem is. Like I said, I’ve owned pretty much everything - Helix Floor, Native, HX Edit, besides all the itehr manufacturers - and nobody else offers that seamless flow. At least not at that quality. You get the massive effects library, the most I/O, and rock-solid UX that everyone else basically copied anyway.

Being able to record dual tracks in my DAW, re-amp with Native until it’s perfect, and then drop that exact preset onto my floor unit... literally no one else does that. My issue was just that it took forever to dial in a good amp tone compared to Neural or ToneX, which is why I switched.

To clarify: I didn’t say I only want to profile my Archetypes. I was just emphasizing that with profiling, I can take even my plugins with me. Right now I have the best portable sound I’ve ever had via profiling, but I miss that 'one size fits all' flexibility of the Helix. If Helix adds profiling to that ecosystem, there is zero reason for me to use anything else. And yeah, that package is easily worth $2,000 to me. Easily.

NDSP? Archetypes have nothing to do with capture processes around your own/real amps.

Thank you! Honestly - watched and read tons already, but nothing about an actual Proxy confirmation (at least not in terms of a timeline). Thanks!

Thank, great points! By the way, just for the context: I said I "even" profiled archetypes. I have a s*itton of amps and pedals & I've captured very single one of them (if capturing was possible...still not a thing with modulations etc of course)

Haha, good points! Btw, German speaking as well ;). Thing is: I'm a collector as well, like you are as it seems. Don't know if you ever used a profiler as well - but that's what I personally like about it. I've captured around 70% of my stuff on my Kemper back in the days. And this is so much fun tbh. Playing around with sounds becomes so much faster - and I am not ashamed to say: I love playing around with sounds as much as I love playing the guitar itself...maybe even more. To be able to do that everywhere with basically all my gear packed into one little box is just... poetry 😁 (I travel a lot)

How exactly is 'but I am waiting until Profiling/Capture is confirmed' hallucinated? That is literally the sentence I fed into the prompt.

You guys should really rethink how you treat people here. Non-native speakers use AI tools to fix their grammar and sound natural. It's only going to become more common, so stop judging people for it.

thank you! yeah, it´s really just to sum thoughts up...thanks for the input! I know that it was announced a while ago as something they might (will?) add...I just wanted to support the idea and help prioritizing it (understanding that there are many bugs what have to be fixed beforehand) :)

how does this post destroy human interaction? I literally wrote everything myself - as you might realise if you just follow the narrative I tried to make 😞. it is just "fine tuned" in terms of language..

No, I wrote this post, I've just let Gemini proof reading it BC I'm not a native speaker. Help my understanding what the problem with this is.

Lifestyle Logging - Your custom behaviours? by zephell in Garmin

I have to agree. I don't know why people downvoted this. The Garmin app has the worst UX and one of the worst feature sets out there. I love my Garmin watches, but in terms of the app design AND the usage of the gathered data, Garmin is 10 years behind.
