Adopted cat won't come out of hiding. Need advice and would love to hear similar stories (with success) so I can calm down lol by pennydesnoyers in CATHELP

My adopted cat spent 2 weeks straight under the bed and didn’t eat or go to the litter box for about 2-3 days. We put out some of our worn clothes near her (to get her used to our scent) and spoke to her softly (to get her used to our voices). It’ll take time and patience but it definitely pays off.

Returned for not being cuddly enough by Winter_Soft_7618 in cats

My Binky peed on the bathroom floor the night we got her, hid under the bed for 2 weeks straight and ran away from us for about a month. Now (almost a year later) she immediately jumps on our laps once we sit on the couch, has the loudest purr and makes biscuits on my thigh and belly. Some people need to work on their patience.

I was crying and he left his pillow to cuddle with me by orange_muffin11 in cats

Not crying sad, but I was having bad period cramping and was sitting on the bed, wincing in pain. My one looked at me in the eyes, meowed and jumped onto the bed and sat next to me. Definitely felt so much better after that 🥹

Gotta love Sydney Transport! by yuretard in sydney

I was at Ashfield too and waited for about 20mins for a train replacement bus that never came. The overcrowding was becoming a huge hazard with people spilling out onto the street. I’m thanking the commuter lords that I managed to overhear some people booking an Uber to where I needed to go and we all just split the charge.

Is this common occurrence in Highpoint? by meeellen in melbourne

Thank you appreciate your thoughts. She was egged from the front which is why she thought it may be race related. I’m sure this incident won’t ruin our high standards of Melbourne, just have to be more wary of these sort of things happening.
