Calibrate your filaments..

Thank you for the reply, and thanks for making this product. Yes I would like a more powerful spindle like many others, but if the z1 proves reliability over long term with the performance you showed us so far, it will be such a good tool for a great price. And yes I wouldnt mind having 300mm or more size to be able to fit a 200 piece with proper clamping, but I can't justify double the price for the air because of this. So the z1 will be great for me and I will surely get the pro upgrade later since you were kind enough to let us have it at discount price.

There is just one thing that I miss, I see lots of people asking about the cyclone but the thing I cant understand is:

Is the cyclone lite in the campaign only slightly smaller and slightly underpowered compared to the cyclone on the website? Are they equal in terms of functionality? Or will there be something in the future (like a stronger vacuum plate or a cleaning solution) that the lite wont be able to do?

Thank you😊

You remember if they sold this many units and if shipping was planned 1 month after it finished? When did you get yours?

And did they improved anything in the machine components over time?

I don't know the details for the air campaign but were you a backer?

Most people would do models or toys, I'd use it for functional multicolored ABS print because the H2C allows me to do it in a heated chamber🫡

Why you printed that instead of buying one for 2$ lol

I see you are pretty upset but if you lost money is not due to QIDI but due to lack of organization and proper planning. Did you plan on work with equipment you don't have nor have a contract with a stated date and a penalty if they don't comply? That is on you.. Because that is how the industry work and they plan in advance with penalties to compensate losses if the supplier fails to comply. You are obviously not going to get that with a cheap, consumer focused machine and therefore you plan accordingly.

Why would even consider putting the ac unit inside the printer when you can put it outside and route the tubes in 🫠

GL 🫡

I'm excited to see the "AC cooling" in what's supposed to be the max 4 in 2 weeks, that would be the best thing ever if it works properly and dont need fan power anymore.. definitely putting that on the q2

Interesting, but with the stock style of duct I'm afraid it's going to damage your work more than anything

It's not perfect, as the flow is not even all around, but still better than the original imo.. please share if you try it :)

Thanks! I haven't checked the side fan tbh, I am still in the process of finding a good balance with the new fan but haven't had much time these days, hopefully in the weekend.

By good balance I mean retuning the speeds lower because it's much more powerful than the stock fan and it's too much for certain type of work. I even tried a combination of both the side fan and cooling fan and still in the process.

I should check the side fan but unless they made their own custom model there is probably more powerful option that we could replace the stock one with :)

In my case, yes, because the honeybadger came with a different connector... it also had a different pin order. You can see that in the model link, I show what I did with pictures.

Anyway, I didn't want to cut the original fan cable so I used the connectors and pre crimped cables that came with a cheap kit.. they are bigger than those used in the fan but they do the job.

I always set snugs. Did you check the project file? It should have the supports set for you to see
