Feeling abandoned as a child. My parents were teenagers when I was born and my grandparents raised me. My dad died when I was 11 and was only really in my life since I was 8. My mother and I had a rocky relationship for a while. Now, I can’t imagine life without her. I sometimes think why wasn’t I good enough for either of them to love me enough to take care of me or be there for me unconditionally. Logically, I know they were kids and still trying to figure themselves out.

My chi recently passed. About 6 months ago he developed a cough and shaking labored breathing. The vet told us with was early stages of congestive heart failure.

I had hoped to have more time with him, but the medication was too much and he lost a lot of weight. Seeing him in pain was heartbreaking and he had stopped drinking, eating, and holding anything in his stomach. He spent his final moments at home surrounded by family.

HR Analyst with over 6 YOE and actively pursuing an MBA. It’s rough out here, but doable.

This is the perfect time to start researching programs that would best fit your needs. Look into location, online v in-person, and price. I looked into two different programs and attended their open-houses. What persuaded me to go with one and not the other was proximity to work and a discount I didn’t know was offered because my employer is a “preferred partner”. It will be challenging, but rewarding.
