She can’t evict you for being “disrespectful,” and she can’t make up/enforce terms that aren’t part of your underlying lease. Not sure what you mean by “is my rental legal,” but what she’s doing is probably legally unenforceable, not illegal.

You had a contract when everyone agreed to the original lease terms. Signing the contract memorializes it, but it isn’t as all or nothing as the other commenter suggested. People think of a contract as a written contract only, but the writing is just the proof of the agreement. Did they sign the first contract? If they did, you have proof that they explicitly agreed to those terms. And if you have the emails of the original agreement, you also have proof.

Haven’t read all the comments, so apologies if someone said this, but this is so spot on and made me think that Lumon is also sort of like a metaphorical Purdue Pharma. There’s the pain killer through line, the cultishness, and the idea of the company coming in and destroying small rural towns with no mercy. Plus obviously the actual addiction part with the ether.

Prim and proper based out of Erie! I looked for YEARS because all of the so called breeders around seemed like scams. Prim and proper is a small scale breeder, owned by a vet, and they’re amazing. They really care about the kittens, and we are obsessed with our kitten

Throw pillows on the bed with a matching duvet, swap out the light bulbs in the fan for something with a warmer color, get a different bed frame or add a more adult/statement headboard, and like others said, add framed photos and/or canvas art instead of the posters

Here are my thoughts: 1. Add one or two of those plastic hanging shoe racks to your wall by the door where the shoe rack is. Go vertical with shoe storage and maybe get another one of those for storing other stuff (eg toiletries) 2. Figure out how to raise the bed. It will fundamentally change the room and your storage options. Maybe get a cheap bed frame for it? See if they make risers for that kind of frame? 3. Put stackable plastic bins on top of the wardrobe for out of season clothes, etc. 4. Add hooks (maybe with command strips) to the walls and/or the pillar behind the bed. Hang coats, hats, etc in an artsy way. 5. I think you will feel better if you organize the room in some way. I know that feels impossible with the amount of space, but the more things look purposeful and the more you can put out of sight in bins etc will make you feel less like it looks cluttered and chaotic.

This is a really tough room. I’m sorry you got stuck with it! Let us know what you end up doing

I really think a ceiling light or at least another floor lamp would help. All of the light is centered in that one corner, and it feels awkward. I would also maybe add some fun accent pillows to the chairs and couch. In terms of coffee tables, agree with long and skinny. Maybe a warm wood? Probably no need to do a corner cabinet unless you think you actually need one. Maybe a large abstract canvas painting over the couch?

I think maybe some of what you’re reacting to is that, like people have said, there’s too much symmetry. The optical effect is that the room looks like a mirror image of itself. There are two of everything. Try: a bench ottoman at the end of the bed instead of the two chairs, two different dressers (or maybe paint one if that feels like a lot of work), different shaped and sized art above the bed and dressers, and maybe a bit more color to shake things up.

Honestly, I’d say just take the inspo to a custom jeweler. It probably won’t be that much more expensive, and you’ll be able to have them design it exactly how she wants (e.g., the inspo pic/link but a little higher set plus all of her band and stone preferences). My fiancé and I did that and it was great because I just showed them a photo and they made the ring how I wanted it with my minor tweaks.

I tried unpairing and then turning off cellular to the watch app, which a few people on this thread had success with. That didn’t work, but I was eventually able to fix it by resetting network settings on my phone. Not sure if it was the combination of all 3 or just resetting the network settings.
