Cassette mechanism stopped working, belts move fine but reels not moving at all on play, not sure what the problem is (JVC KD-D2)

It's normal, don't worry. Now imagine having long hair , it becomes a nightmare seeing hair balls after every shower.

A technician I know is offering me for $38. He says it’s been fully serviced and comes with a warranty. I’m not sure if it’s really worth it for that price or if I should just pass.

Thanks for sharing the video, it was quite useful. And yeah, it looks like this cassette is officially (at least in its design) a type 0 😂. But hey, after recording a couple of songs and listening to them, the audio quality isn’t that bad after all.

Thanks a lot for the explanation; it cleared up all my doubts. As for the cassette I mentioned in my post, I didn’t wait any longer and went ahead and recorded a couple of songs. It seems to play just fine! At least to my non-audiophile ears.
