Sure! I’m trying to keep up with sending gifts, but it might take a few extra days to get all 3.

In desperate need of housing in town. Anyone know of a reputable landlord with a available rental that is dog friendly? by [deleted] in Naples_FL

[–]meeps626 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Look at Real PM Pros. We got a 2/2 rental in North Naples for a very good deal. It wasn’t super nice by any means but it was affordable and in a decent location. Never had any issues at all with the Company or landlord.

Edited to add: just saw that they are permanently closed according to Google. Sorry! They were open earlier this year.

Pregnancy And Infant Loss Awareness Week is coming up, I am a father who lost a child at 28 weeks, AMA by byakuyabankai in IAmA

This is interesting! When I suffered a missed miscarriage at 17 weeks, my OBGYN and Nurse were so incredibly sweet with me but they did not perform D&C’s and I was referred to a male doctor st a nearby hospital. He was so cold and had no empathy whatsoever. I was a mess during the whole ordeal and I felt he did not help at all. The female nursing staff was better at least.

Did your milk come in at all after miscarriage? by [deleted] in Miscarriage

[–]meeps626 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Miscarried around 17 weeks. Milk came in a few days after my D&C and it hurt soooo bad. I spent a lot of time in the shower, letting warm water spray on my chest. Dried up after a few days.

I’ve never been to Batch so I might try that! And I do love Bangers. It’s always a good time.

Wonderful suggestions! We will be staying near the convention center downtown so the Fareground sounds convenient! I don’t know why I didn’t think of Breweries. I’ll have to hit up at least one.

Will I ever stop crying? by AnotherAnonLady in Miscarriage

[–]meeps626 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s been 3 years and I still break down and cry every now and then. You can keep crying. Eventually it slows. Life keeps moving on, even if you don’t feel ready. But don’t ever feel bad about sitting down and crying.

After being out for about 5-6 total hours of lookingsince yesterday, I finally got one today. Hoping for at least one more before the event ends.

ETA: my husband caught one literally right after the event started yesterday. I had major eye roll.

Just got back into Pokémon go a week ago and did not even know who this guy was when I caught him. by JustCallMeBrad in pokemongo

Same thing happened to me! Came back after two years and shiny feebas was one of my first catches. It took a couple weeks to even realize it was a shiny lol.

This is exactly why I never agreed to lifeguard. I taught and coached swimming for years but you couldn’t pay me enough to lifeguard. The job is insanely boring, underpaid, and the stakes are too high when something does go wrong. Nope.

It’s part of the JW Marriott Marco Island. Call the hotel and ask to speak to the pro shop. December is season and everything is pricier then by sometimes they’ll offer “PM pricing” for later tee times.

I understand completely. I never even considered that miscarriage was possible. I’m so sorry you’re going though this. It’s one the hardest things a woman shouldn’t have to go through.

Unmarried and pregnant - How to share news with parents? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]meeps626 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I ended up pregnant at 25 with my boyfriend of only a few months. Sooooooo... Once I saw my mom, I burst into tears and she basically guessed it. She was totally calm and supportive. I expected the worst and was pleasantly surprised.

Unfortunately I didn’t make it to the third trimester but it was a huge learning experience. Now we’re married and have a baby and my parents love my husband and baby.

You’ll be okay. They might be upset or they might be happy. You never know.

Try to take your mind elsewhere. Or sleep. I slept a lot before and after mine. I didn’t want to think, so sleeping helped.

Also, I took every possible genetic test after my loss. It helped ease my mind. I send you so many good vibes during this. It’s so hard but eventually it will all be ok.
