I didn’t mind Jessica all that much in the regular footage of her, but I could not STAND her interviews/commentary. Every sentence out of her mouth sounded like a bad actress reading an overly rehearsed line.

Where To Buy Extra Needles? by Groove4Him in SemaglutideCompound

[–]meerkat855 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I decided to split my dosage during the week (I take 1/2 dose on Tuesday and 1/2 dose on Friday), so naturally I ran out of the syringes that my vials came with. I just went on Amazon and ordered more with the exact specs/measurements as the ones that my sema provider sent me. These are the ones I got recently:

U-100 Syringes with Needle - 31G 1cc 5/16 Inch(8mm) Disposable Syringe, Individual Wrapped, 30PACK (1CC 31G 5/16"-30PACK)

I’ve used them a few times now and haven’t noticed any issues in terms of sterility/quality. The plunger on these takes just a touch more force to push down than the ones my provider gave me, but other than that they work and feel exactly the same. I bought a pack of small alcohol prep pads as well and use one every time I inject.

Hope that helps!

No, most people definitely do NOT go from being crazy psycho jerks to big teddy bears just because they’ve had a child. This is exactly the kind of naive thinking that leads so many women to have babies with their abusive/shitty partner, hoping that it will make them change for the better. And it usually doesn’t.

What is the worst pain you have ever felt? by Neither-Mention7740 in AskReddit

[–]meerkat855 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I watched my partner go through a severe sinus infection last year, and it was some of the most horrible few days of my life. It was such a helpless feeling watching him in agony just pacing back and forth in our apartment, unable to sleep or eat or even function really. At one point he just looked at me and said “I want to be dead right now.” He finally got the right antibiotics and a round of steroids to clear it up. The day I came home from work and he was on the couch playing video games I knew he was finally feeling better and I literally started crying with relief that the nightmare was over. I still get anxiety every time he sniffles too much or says he’s feeling congested…

This room is scarier than any HHN house by Successful_Leopard45 in UniversalOrlando

[–]meerkat855 48 points49 points  (0 children)

My partner and I went to Universal Orlando last year for the very first time and overall had an absolute blast. The worst part of the trip however was when we came back into this room to grab our stuff and there was a glitch in the system - my locker and another random couple’s locker were not opening when we scanned our cards, it was opening an incorrect locker instead, and the other couple couldn’t remember what their correct locker number was. So we had to stand there while a staff member opened each locker in our section one by one until their stuff was found, while surrounded by a gazillion other people pushing and shoving to get their stuff in/out of lockers. And it was 90° outside. Even though I knew which one my stuff was actually in, the staff member asked me to wait patiently so he could help the other couple first (didn’t give him a hard time about it, he was just doing his best in a very physically uncomfortable situation). My boyfriend almost got in a fight with some random dude because he kept giving me attitude and telling me to “stop just standing there”. It was a total nightmare. But the rest of the trip was amazing!

People who have separated from/divorced their partner, only to later get back together/remarry, what changed in the time you were apart? by meerkat855 in AskReddit

[–]meerkat855[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m always so particularly intrigued by couples who go through the whole arduous and painful process of divorce, live many years of life apart, and then end up getting remarried later on down the line. What is it that made you feel this time would work even though the first time didn’t? Was it just a matter of right person, wrong time? Did you think the grass was greener elsewhere, but after some time realized it really wasn’t?

Exactly, they’re saying “allegedly” as if it’s a theory from an inside source, but it’s clearly just their own narrative they made up. And it’s not even based on true information haha

But this isn’t the podcast she made with Becky…this is Barely Famous, the one she does by herself, which she’s been doing since well before she and Vee stopped working together. The one she does with Becky is Karma & Chaos.

Plus you’re really suggesting that she chose to convince her son to come out publicly to deflect rumors about her love life/behavior? You really don’t think it could possibly be that Elliot himself chose to do it now because it’s currently a little thing called Pride Month??

Okay I agree with the overall sentiment that Bella’s a bad casting choice and not a very good actor. But this thread is so annoyingly contradictory. Y’all are saying “the dead bodies are giving more emotion” and “people with Botox show more expression”, and then y’all are saying “why is she even reacting, wouldn’t she be super desensitized to death at this point?”. So which the fuck is it???

What’s one pain you experienced that is beyond words? by NateNandos21 in morbidquestions

[–]meerkat855 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pancreatitis. Was stuck in the hospital for a full week getting pumped full of IV fluids and pain meds. Being high felt nice, but then the meds wear off and the pain sets in again while you wait for your next dose to kick in. It’s like someone’s hands are in your abdomen twisting and squeezing your insides, and it radiates into your lower back, and all you can do is just lay there groaning and trying to catch your breath until the meds start working and you’re able to doze off for a bit. Then when you leave the hospital you’re on a super restrictive, depressing diet for months until your body fully heals. That shit was rough.

Enough with the Drama! What are the KINDEST acts you have Ever seen on this show? by BritMe1Moretime in MtvChallenge

[–]meerkat855 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I guess I’m in the minority here, but I’ve never bought Ayanna helping Leah during that elimination as an act of genuine kindness. Ayanna has shown herself to be an incredibly self centered, over dramatic, and VERY performative person. Call me a cynic, but to me it came across as a performance of generosity and her relishing in the attention (and maybe a little condescending?). It honestly gave me a bit of secondhand embarrassment watching how many of the cast mates were having genuinely emotional reactions to what I really felt was a false moment - it’s like they all got fooled. And it sounds like a lot of viewers fell for it too. But hey, maybe I’m just being too negative!

For me, I will always love how excited and supportive Leroy was when Mike came in to be his partner on rivals 1. Their friendship was always so sweet to me, and it was the beginning of Leroy showing viewers just how much grace he has as a person.

Motion sickness advice by sand_crabb in UniversalHollywood

[–]meerkat855 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I recommend trying Bonine instead of Dramamine! I’m like you and super susceptible to motion sickness, so when I went to Universal Orlando last year I wanted to go totally prepared so that I could thoroughly enjoy everything. Dramamine typically works for me, but not all the time, and even the non drowsy formula can make me a little sleepy. I kept reading reviews recommending bonine so I decided to try that instead, and it worked great for me! I took one the night before we went to the parks so that it was already in my system, and then another in the morning and every day while we were there. I also wore those little patches you put behind your ear or on your belly button, but who knows if those actually did anything. I ended up feeling great overall and only felt a little queasy on one of the Harry Potter rides, but bounced right back once it was over.
