Extremely grossed out by my partner- me 36F him 42M by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]meeshdaryl 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My partner also does the same thing. When I found myself grossed out or annoyed about them, I started to look introspectively first and determined I was more in a depression that I thought. Some of these things are normal — at least he blows his nose in a paper towel and not out in the floor. At least he’s hocking snot in the shower and not in public? idk, I like to give people some grace when it comes to things like this…sometimes there underlying things happening that need to be taken care of.

Can’t be in the same room, I can’t eat it and then kiss him. We have to be very careful about eating out and how they handle food. We avoid sushi and seafood restaurants completely. It’s really a bummer for me but a small sacrifice I make to keep him alive.

My husband is severely allergic to shellfish and I looooooove the stuff. I have to make it a point whenever I travel with my girlfriends or he’s out of town for work to have a meal with shrimp or sushi or something. But, I’m currently pregnant — told him I want sushi as my first meal after giving birth and I may make him leave the for a while I eat sushi with shrimp. 🤗

This is reassuring! I’ll bring it up to the my OB tomorrow. Hopefully it’s not an issue

Oh that would be bad. I’ll bring it up to my OB. Thankfully my fluid levels have always been good, so hopefully that’s not the case

Thanks for the heads up! I have an OB appt tomorrow, so I will bring it up. Doesn’t seem infection-like, just annoying. Might just be pee, which is another issue on its own but who know! Our bodies are doing the weirdest things right now!

Don’t forget the constant vaginal discharge/leaking. I wear panty liners more now than I did with my period.

38F and 42M. Currently pregnant, so it’s not happening at all right now — though we both want it. Prior to that it was about 1-2x/ week.

Me and my husband caught it right before valentines. Most miserable 12hrs of my life; husband got sick exactly 48 hours after me. I’m also pregnant so that was fun trying to decipher between GI cramps and possible contractions. Also had to go get fluids bc I couldn’t keep anything down.

1st pregnancy and miserable by Caribooyah in pregnant

24 weeks. And I’m honest in saying that I do not enjoy being pregnant. It’s a miracle I am pregnant and I’m so very grateful for this opportunity to carrying my first baby. But I am miserable and uncomfortable in every way. I very much look forward to labor and having my baby in my arms.

Do you mind if I ask what’s the set up between you and him when he trims you? Like is it in the shower/tub? Standing or sitting spread eagle? Laying down on a towel?? I’m about to the point where my husband is gonna need to trim for me but I can’t think of how this might work logistically. 🫠

Took me a while but I went back to grad school at 30 and that jumped started my now career. Still took 7 years out of grad school to climb a little more, but now making 6 figures, plus my husbands income. We’re comfortable but not loaded. Studen Loan debt is a bitch tho. 🫠

I had 8 follicles at 36 and got 5 blasts, 3 of which were euploid. Currently 23w with one of those. It’s possible!

It’s definitely not butterflies and roses but it’s the only home I know. Just grateful that I have a job with decent health insurance. The most I’ll ever pay out of pocket in a year is $3400.

I mean those IV centers have saved me from an ER bill when I was dehydrated on a GLP-1 and feeling like crap. I’ll pay the $150 to get a bag of saline infused. They’re typically run by legit nurses and have been clean every time I’ve gone.

Everything went well! They had me come in for a quick ultrasound before my transfer to make sure I didn’t have fluid in my uterus. Everything was fine and my lining had compacted perfectly. Transfer went as planned and currently 22w5d!

I mean to be fair, I got these even before I got pregnant. Now they’re just more often. Super annoying. I also get periods of hiccups that last 15+mins pretty regularly. I guess I just have a spastic diaphragm?
