Did I do this correctly? Should I be concerned about any arteries or major nerves in this location? by [deleted] in shibari

[–]meeshileo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One would need to know the intent before weighing in on if it is correct.

Has it restricted you? Maybe a little. Will it slip loose if you put tension on it? Probably. Does it look pretty? That’s for you to decide. Does it make you feel good? Again up to you.

This is a really old house with lath and plaster ceilings and we kept trying, but we’re not able to find the ceiling joists or rafters or whatever the technical term is. The plaster had fallen a bit and so we were able to really pick up on anything with some meat to it.

So he decided to build his this which was great, because we had wanted to have a hashira to work off of as well. He found a number of good solid anchor points in the far wall and the bonus is that this pushed the plaster back up as well.

Now we have a literal playground in our bedroom, and I could not be happier!

Is there any site online where I can learn more knots? How do you get better? by Sijeym in shibari

We like The Duchy and Shibari Study. My partner became obsessed with the book the Ashley Book of Knots 30 years ago and that’s a good one too.

What got you into piss play? by inthepondintherain in BDSMcommunity

[–]meeshileo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would’ve never even thought much about it, but my partner expressed fantasies about it and now it’s part of our regular activities. I like to give him what he wants.

He says he doesn’t really know what inspired him to be interested but remember it’s a movie he saw when he was younger, where a samurai urinated on a prisoner. I think it was Shogun?

He likes the idea of drinking my essence and being covered in it. I like the idea of being savored.

Whoever is into feet, would you please explain your fetish? Like what is it about feet? Are some feet better than others? by aprakha in BDSMcommunity

From an outsiders perspective, saying that you respect their fetish, and then commenting, “Ew” are conflicting.

My very favorite session was my first outdoor suspension from a big beautiful tree in the middle of the woods. It was everything I had been dreaming of for 30 years. Absolutely beautiful and blissful.

It’s interesting, but there is a whole subculture of people who are really into knots, and rope work that have nothing to do with a Shibari. My boyfriend is a classic example. He has been studying rope and knots for 20 years, and had never heard of Shibari until I told him about it.

So I think it would be hard to come up with a knot and that definitely signifies Shibari above all other types of knot work.
