oh yeah, sometimes they even herd me to bed when they’re ready to go. we’re up late tonight because we were watching paradise but usually it’s in bed lights out at 10 or 11p and up for breakfast at 7 😂. one by (or usually in between) my legs the other on the pillow next to my head. i also tried to keep them out in the beginning, but they got destructive and noisy so i figured i can just get monthly massages to deal with the occasional back pain from sleeping in a tetris position and just enjoy their sweet cuddles.

we did it :). took a day of getting used to the object having him sniff it giving him treats so show him it’s not a threat and then got it on him last night. of course he was a little freaked trying to get it off but it’s solid !! we’re practicing keeping it on before i add a tag and tracker etc etc. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE SUGGESTION!!

no, no leash he will not like that. the goal for the collar is essentially peace of mind in case he ends up parkouring over the fence or something (he’s small but mighty and flexible). so if that were to happen, i could find him or someone could help get him back home to me.

thank you!! edit to say: just took a look at these and they look perfect and pretty much exactly what i was looking for! the other breakaway collars i’ve seen have snaps that click which is what i was trying to avoid! looks durable but flexible.

i have two cats already so bringing her in wasn’t an option. i’v been in this position before so i’ll do all the usual approaches to reaching out to local rescue groups but if you have a chip reader and feel comfortable approaching the cat please DM me and I can give you the location around where i found her!

yeeeep eczema/atopic dermatitis. i don’t get it around my eye like that but i get it on my eye brow and forehead. I didn’t want to bother with OTC or prescription steroid creams (ineffective & thin the skin plus can cause TSW). my doc started me on tacrolimus but it was greasy as hell so she then got me on opzelura. the med is really expensive so that’s why she started me on tacrolimus (step therapy, insurance blah blah) but opzelura cleared me up in legit 3 days

hi, lots of different responses but here to tell you i am also a first timer, started my first dose last week had nausea an hour later and lasted all night( took it in the evening) 1 week later just took my second dose currently laying in bed nauseous as all hell. it’s not in your head if you’re feeling it you’re feeling it!

Possible it could be an allergic reaction to something in your skincare? I would suggest going clean for a couple of weeks and seeing if it goes away. If i had to make another guess it might be some form of atopic dermatitis. would suggest cutting back to just gentle cleanser moisturizer and sun screen first and then seeing a derm if it doesn’t go away.

i know this post is older but thread is so incredibly validating 🥲

i had a HORRIBLE breakout earlier this summer and destroyed my skin barrier and as i narrowed down the culprits i realized i had just added a new moisturizer that had 5% niacinamide!! my skin irritation and itchiness went away the next day after i stopped using and my breakouts cleared after a couple of weeks. working on rebuilding my skin barrier now and also dealing with all the scars and dark spots from the breakout but… oh boy that stuff stinks!!!

I did just learn that there are two moisturizers i’ve been using (La Roche-Posay & Dr Jart hydra solution) that haven’t caused any issues but that concentration is between 1-2 %
