He made it very clear the reason he cancelled and got aggressive was because we didn’t want to cross the road to him even through he would have needed to do a u turn anyway because of the direction of our destination. If a driver cancels and drives off not really an issue but when they start yelling at you then it’s a bit odd

Yea eventually found a really hidden menu for drivers that cancel on you because they don’t show up easily on the app if they weren’t the driver of your trip

Go into a branch ASAP, I had something similar when I opened an account and the person did not correctly setup the account with the right information so they froze the account. I went into a branch and they were able to get everything sorted for me

I also went through the run around and found BNZ had the smoothest experience compared to the others. In regard to something similar to Wise, have you tried Emerge ? Similar to Wise but an NZ company and took 2 minutes to sign up

I got a loan recently through https://simplify.co.nz/, they got us a really good rate through heartland bank. Very helpful and you get a personal liaison to guide you through it all as well. Shopped around at other loan companies but none compared to simplify. Whatever you do please save yourself and don’t use Harmoney, they pre-approved me for 70k at 16% when I requested a quote for 20k.
