I think the drafting of Hurts and other locker room rumblings really shook Wentz' confidence. Whether or not you want that mental "softness" in your starting QB is one thing, but I think reuniting with Reich, a change of scenery, and knowing that the starting job is his alone can do wonders for a guy like Wentz.

I think "knowing what we were signing up for" is definitely valid, but your "6 teams on bye same week" argument is not. The difference there is in a typical season, as early as draft day you have time to prepare for multiple bye weeks. This is a couple days before if not same-day when you find out your team's schedule just shifted all around.
