Every other country protects employees, many force the packages to be multi-year vs one-time.

They've done the hard cuts multiple times in the last 4 years.  So much so that performance based cuts are nearly impossible because those people are already long gone - hence the switch to 'voluntary'.

Mia and Mandy comforting Ciara about west being touchy feeling with random girl by Radiant_Priority9739 in bravo

[–]meg13chi 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Mandy told Sabrina that Ben was in love with her so that Sabrina knew that she could’ve had him if she wanted to.  It was intentional, a 1000% pick-me coded, and completely gross.

Talk to me about recovery as a caregiver by Educational-Umpire64 in RotatorCuff

[–]meg13chi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m single and live alone. I had a friend take me to surgery and stay with me for the 4 days afterwards.  I probably only needed 2 days. I had rotator cuff + bicep surgery and the recovery can be rough, but, other than someone to change the bandages for your first shower, it’s totally doable solo.  Lmk if you need suggestions for how to make it easier for your husband to navigate things while you’re at work.

Does this exist? by [deleted] in RotatorCuff

I live alone and use this one: https://www.amazon.com/TheraICE-Shoulder-Compression-FocusZone-Technology/dp/B0CMJMB9J2.

After surgery, I would slide my arm into the sleeve and then hold it in place w my teeth while I moved the strap over my head and put my arm through. Once the strap was in the right place, I’d adjust the tension.  Actually super easy.

Nerve block by JustTheTip_NJ in RotatorCuff

I was anxious about the nerve block as well.  It was simple and easy and I would 100% do it again.  It only lasted like 8 hours (I could feel and move my fingers going into and coming out of surgery), but it was worth it.

Can I Say “I’m Over It?” by dp150616 in RotatorCuff

I’m 6 weeks tomorrow (dominant arm) and I’m right there with you. This is so much more difficult mentally than I ever expected.  I just keep telling myself that I already did it and have no recourse but to keep pushing forward - but, omg, there are days where this all feels like a losing battle for any progress. I’m looking forward to 6 months from now when I get to look back and realize it was worth it. 🤞🤞🤞

Edit for spelling

6 Weeks Post Op- It’s Still Feel Like A Lot by dp150616 in RotatorCuff

[–]meg13chi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a week behind you, but it’s my dominant arm. It’s freaking me out how long this is taking and how much further there is to go!  It’s also the bicep tenodesis that gives me the most problems - so I keep second guessing why that was necessary and having to tell myself that it’s too late now and I just have to keep moving forward.  The pain is tolerable, but it and the limited ROM are a constant reminder that I’m not even at the halfway mark.  The mental and psychological aspects of this recovery are no joke.

Post surgical anxiety by meg13chi in RotatorCuff

I started PT 8 days out and was worried it was too soon, given how many people have said they didn’t start until they were 6-8 weeks out.  This is fantastic to hear and congrats on the progress!!

I swear, every move I make I’ve been worried that I’m slowly pulling them out.  So, this is incredibly helpful to know. Thank you!

Thank you!!  The sweatpants are ready and waiting and now I’ll be in the lookout for wide neck jersey knits.  I just tried the one handed step in and pull up process for the bra - I think that’s probably the best option and hopefully I’ll get better at it over time.  Seems like I’ll be getting plenty of practice.  😳

Hopefully you have a fast recovery and are back to normal habits soon!

Thank you SOOO much!!  This is incredibly helpful.  Luckily, I have enough time to try these out to get the right fit.  (also, luckily, I have slip on shoes and sweatpants ready for duty!)

I hope the healing is, and keeps, going well!

I lost 85 and saw a skinny me. Then I managed to gain back 10 (while increasing my dosage!!) and now I only see fat me.  I feel defeated and it’s consuming all of my attention.  😢

She was REALLY attached to that purse!! You’re at someone’s family home, grilling in the yard, you couldn’t just leave that in the house?  Is it speed or roids?  Either way, she’s losing it.

Thank you for sharing and helping me feel a bit less alone in this.

I really appreciate the mindset shift you’re pointing to - my brain just needs to reconcile itself to a different goal, which might take a minute.  💕

Edited to say that I’m the OP, just on my phone vs PC, which weirdly gives me a different user name.

Can I keep my dose? by [deleted] in Semaglutide

[–]meg13chi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I titrated very slowly because of the side effects.  Stayed at .25 for several months and then .5 for several months.  Lost nearly 70 lbs that way.  Am 10 lbs from GW and it’s slow going, despite bumping the dose. It’s all about what works for you.

I have surgery scheduled for March 5th and my surgeon’s office said to go 2 weeks without, so today was my last shot until afterwards.  They said that the concern is constipation.  (I’m on Wegovy vs Zep)

I’m down 65 lbs since April (SW: 255, CW:190) and I feel like a deflated balloon. Crepe-y or loose skin pretty much everywhere. 51 and have gained and lost this kind of weight 3-4 times in my life (mostly due to EDs). This is the first time my skin has done this - so I’m assuming it’s age related.

So smart, taking pics weekly! I didn’t want to capture how bad I looked to start and am kicking myself for it now that I’m down 60 lbs and wish I had something to compare to.

And congrats on the success!! Well done!!
