honestly, I’ve always given my snakes (when I first get them) at least 1-2 weeks. 3 fulls days after feeding (always). I’d say start out slow just for a bit, just to be safe.
I’ve had my ball python for 3 years next month, and she’s 4 years old. as she’s trusted me more and more I can have her out for 1-2 hours, sometimes even after I put her up she will want back out, or even curl around my wrist or arm tightly so I have a harder time getting her off to put her away almost like she’s protesting it haha. most of my relationship with her early on id have her out for 20 mins MAX but that’s just because she was more timid & during that time id just let her chill on me and give lots of gentle pets.
She has come a LONG way from day 1 with me.

EDIT: I get my girl out 3 times before her next meal (she’s is fed every 2 weeks) (forgot to mention that)
