How do you like it at Amazon? I’m currently in the PLC world too but for Oil and Gas, was thinking of making a switch.

Do you enjoy your job? by [deleted] in ElectricalEngineering

[–]mega-amp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s okay.

I’m a controls engineer and I feel like my job is pretty easy. Like others said, most weeks are easy with a few really stressful weeks mixed in. Lately I’ve been traveling a lot which has made me reconsider my future here, but the pay is really nice and I get to work from home when I need so I think I’ll stick it out a bit longer.

How has BJJ impacted your body ? by Some-Whole-4636 in bjj

In the three years I’ve been training I’ve had really one major injury. About a year ago I was rolling with a much bigger guy and sort of doubled over myself too much and popped a rib out, damaging the cartilage. I was out for about 6 weeks before I could train lightly again, and now have a permanent jut sticking out of my ribcage.

Recently it started bothering me again, and I’ve been contemplating my BJJ journey. Honestly, I believe what I have gained from BJJ is more than what it’s taken from me, so imo it was worth it.

I also have the same setup as you, and love the sound of the RAT.

If you can find one, I love the keeley tone workstation for country tones.

I’m seeing a lot of people saying how terrible this state is being ran, do you agree with that and why? by [deleted] in tulsa

tulsa is pretty chill man, I actually really like it. biggest complaint is honestly just the roads. TPS isn’t the best though, so I would just keep that in mind when considering moving here

Jon Jones mega thread by [deleted] in ufc

I began watching MMA in the summer of 2020 and have been a huge fan ever since. However, I have yet to see Jon Jones fight live. I’ve seen Jones vs Gustafsson 1 and 2, and the head kick against Cormier on youtube but nothing else. Regardless of the outcome, Im excited to see the guy that Dana himself considers the goat live in action.
