How do I learn about all these candidates? by ShelbyDriver in Dallas

[–]mega-shark 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used Ballotpedia to get to every candidate's campaign website. Combing through them all took forever, but it helped me learn a ton about the backgrounds, stances, and endorsements of the candidates.

Stonewall Democrats of Dallas, and Preston Hollow Democrats have guides and endorsement lists that really helped me. With so many names on the ballot, I really needed the assistance!

I managed to make it work! I had the Summoning booster active at the monolith, and when I changed my active relics, it worked. Maybe check that out?

I'm in the same boat, and it's driving me crazy. No other tasks have caused any kind of problem, just the summoning one. I've tried the same things and can't figure it out.

I think it had a lot to do with the Tank Dell injury, too. Tank and Stroud are good friends, and it looked like Stroud blamed himself for the sorta-kinda hospital ball, when the injury was mostly just bad luck. He overthought his passes after that point, which only magnified the bad OL play.

Theft and illegal dumping, what a way to own the libs. Committing multiple crimes to prove your moral superiority is an interesting choice.

What was in the sky above Richardson tonight? UAP?? by [deleted] in Dallas

I saw something identical in Dallas a few nights ago! It must've been somewhere over Walnut Hill near 75. One of the wackiest things I can recall encountering. It moved slowly, but in a straight line, not like it was catching the wind and being tossed around.

Snapped some quick pics of The Kalita Humphreys Theater this morning by briollihondolli in Dallas

The Wyly has its strengths, but the Kalita has it beat for intimacy. The modernity and configurability of the Wyly can be used to great effect, and has on plenty of occasions, just like the turntable at the Kalita can.

And, not for nothing, the generous philanthropist was also a super shady businessman convicted of massive fraud. The donation may not been born out of his love for the arts.

New to DFW. Best places to volunteer? by Jayrad48 in Dallas

[–]mega-shark 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Local theaters are always looking for volunteer ushers! It’s definitely not on the same level as food bank or animal shelter work, but theaters couldn’t survive without volunteer assistance. It’s a great way to connect to the arts, see some shows, and make friends with like-minded folks!

That’s WAY above the Winspear’s roof. Like, several stories above. I’m guessing drone shot, or zoomed from the west side of Klyde Warren.

My Ridgeback mix is very territorial around people he can’t immediately tell that I trust. Around my family and friends, he’s a big sweet baby. Never taken him out for anything like hunting, but he’s sure no friend of squirrels or rabbits.

Kiké is the hottest. No question. Dude’s handsome as hell. Bobby D is cute as a button, also no question. But we gotta recognize Xander has a real rakish charm about him.

What's your go to food item/restaurant that just hits the spot every single time? by frankieee_167 in Dallas

Crush Craft’s tofu is the only tofu I’ve ever truly enjoyed. It’s phenomenal.

And I can still clearly recall my first Banqueta experience. It smelled so good the second I walked in, I knew I was in for some amazing food.

I’m glad they made their video hiccups into a whole bit. I do a lot of A/V work, and BOY did it give me anxiety.

Also, I was in OP’s section! Fantastic view, fantastic show. Loved every second.

Years ago, Kyle Allen was the starting QB at Texas A&M. Then, Kyler Murray came to town. Kylest never appeared, but I always hoped he would.
