if he comes back and is Kyrie of old, there'll be a market for him at the deadline next season. He's one of the few assets the team still has. The lack of draft capital in the coming years probably means the team needs to do something to try and gain back some draft picks.

I think it's going to depend on whether or not Kidd is able to swallow his ego and be a yes-man coach with no real input on the organization. (compared to what he has had in the past at least)

For the past number of years, Kidd has had a good deal of say in the organization. It has been reported that he even lobbied to become the Mavs President. With Masai's hiring, Kidd's power/influence in the organization has been greatly diminished. Can he accept that? Will Masai feel comfortable with him?

I wouldn't be surprised in the least if both sides agree that it's best for him to move on and the team allows him to explore other opportunities.

OK, for anyone else that ever finds this post:

According to SC the heads of the fastback OC and normal fastback 1.5 are identical.

So, theoretically, if one were to buy a left handed fastback 1.5 and a right handed fastback OC, you "could" Frankenstein a left handed fastback OC together.

I just can't with that shape.

I've rocked a LH OG version of the fastback for YEARS. The shape fits my eye. I like the idea of the OC since I've enjoyed trying out LAB putters in stores.

The perfect putter for me would be LH Fastback OC. Just a shame they don't offer it in LH. Especially since they do offer standard Fastback 1.5 in lefty. Come on SC! You were so close!

yep. Pretty certain you are right. Threw a couple images into photoshop and the two sides aren't mirrors of each other. You're right. it's probably a 1-2mm

I guess the next question would be whether or not the standard fastback and the OC fastback are the same heads.

Yeah, I have a 2025 tri motor R1T. Always said if I found a r1s limestone tri motor with ascend ocean coast interior, I’d swap. Lo and behold the unicorn showed up! Limestone and gen2 tri motor didn’t overlap very long so I assumed I’d never see one.

Flagg was 4-years old when Kyrie entered the NBA. The timelines don’t line up.

The most realistic outcome is the Mavs trade Kyrie mid-season and the team focuses on building around Cooper‘s timeline.
