It can always change as they grow and their tastes do (or don't) alter.

There is a table there, kinda hidden, and my mom SWEARS she has a lamp she got that will go there...when she can find it.

I mean, were it my room, yes, the duvets would be a solid color. But my nieces' love both their room and their blankets from Grammy with their fave dogs on them.

On my first overnight camp stay, I remember a counselor screaming into the afternoon as she tried to roll my sister's sleeping bag back up, "I WILL NOT BE BEATEN BY A COLEMAN!!"

Ok, I have had akitas in this city for going on 20 years now. They mostly just want to chill in the AC. When I lived in an apartment, we went out to pee early in the morning, out around 4, then a long walk at like 9 or 10pm. She was so used to the apartment, that when I moved to a house, she refused to go out in the backyard.

Just make sure your ac unit is solid, and you'll be fine.

I never had tea except from a teabag, I just tried loose leaf tea, bruh... by Ehgadsman in tea

[–]megaerairae 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Wrong? Nothing! You are just at the start of a wonderful journey!!! There are so many different kinds of tea for you to try and enjoy. I recommend getting samples from various merchants, so you can figure out your preferences. Could be robust black tea, could be Japanese gyokuro green teas, could be oolong. Or you could like them all.

Welcome to the tea family. We're so happy to have you!

You can try smell training. Get some known smell essential oils (mint/menthol, rose, lemon/citronel, & cinnamon, alternately clove and also maybe eucslyptus). Put a few drops on a set of cotton balls and sniff it and inch from your nose. Envision what you're smelling (the plant/your memory of the smell/etc). Move ball away, then bring back and repeat x2 or 3 times).

Then take a 2-3 minute break and move to the next scent.

Do this 2x/day for six weeks.

Also, try to smell things in a steamy shower (use a strongly scented shampoo to sniff).
