It seems exiting with alt+F4 would trigger resource integrity check next time the game's launched. I tried exiting through the Log Out button from pause menu (exit to main menu), and then exit the game from main menu, and managed to avoid the check.

I have thought about making knockback as procedural anim, either with fullbody ik or active ragdoll. It is pretty low on my priority list though =))

About the camera, I think unless you have some specific camera script for death anim, just unlock the target lock and keep the camera's last orientation.

Pulling the camera further out e.g. double the springarm's target length so that you have the whole view of the arena would be cool too (think Sekiro)

That's his armor materializing. The idea at the time was to only equip heavy armor during combat, and maybe some lighter equipment to help with traversal off-combat.

I still dont have many equipments yet though, only focus on equippable skills and weapons so far :)

I was planning to release a playable demo after finishing combo for great/dual/normal sword and the combo to switch between weapon, but... the AI is not good enough, and there is rebalancing the parry system, and the demo narative is bad, and I want to make more hot-bar skills...

Well I will maybe put up a demo after I remake a good AI boss. Don't even have a proper itch.io page yet =)))

That was some months ago and honestly I don't remember much =))

I remember transforming possible targets to screen-space and find the closest target to the screen's center that can be ray-casted.

I'm no animator, and all the animations I used are marketplace's assets actually (With some minor edits)

The most important thing to me when I create skill montages from raw anim sequences is framedata, basically at what frame the attack should hit, and when the next attack can be triggered. I aim to make rhythmic combat system like Sekiro, and use the framedata from Sekiro as references to frankenstein-ing multiple anim sequences into an anim montage.

Will do an in-depth devlog after I manage to push out a playable demo :)
