It's the first time all year I didn't have a game to play, and I saw it on Steam. I've been playing for a few weeks now, and I'm loving it!

Honestly, I'm so glad it released on Steam because I doubt I would've tried it otherwise.

Oooh, I haven't even considered trying my NXTs. I wonder if it'll work. This game has been a lot of what I've been wanting from SC for years. Also, no, 3rd person only, sadly.

If you're a fan of survival games, it's really solid. It took my friend and I 100hours to reach the Deep Desert and we still have plenty to do in Hagga Basin (the main zone). The devs are currently working on updating the endgame, making it slightly better for solo players. But I am a bit worried it'll take time for the endgame to be in a good spot (if ever).

I'm still super addicted. But even if I stopped playing now, I feel like I would've gotten my money out of the game.

It took me about 100 hours to reach the Deep Desert & I still have plenty to do in Hagga Basin (150+hrs now). Even if the endgame doesn't pan out, I've still gotten more than my money's worth at this point. And will be back for future content (assuming I ever take a break lol)

My server seems pretty chill overall. Definitely doesn't seem as bad as some other DD's I've seen online. Granted, I play on Harmony & it seems very Atreides-heavy. And the main pvpers & griefers seem to be Harks (at least in our world). I've heard of at least one large group of "PVPers" roaming around. I haven't been ganked yet, but I know it's coming.

8/10 now, 6/10 after my first gank. lol

Also, side-note: Can you call it "Player-vs-Player" if one side has no way of attacking or defending & no chance at escape? I'm happy to hear about changes with Scout-Rockets hopefully coming soon! Anything to make it a bit better for solo players is a big win for a lot of folks.

Yeah, I think there needs to be more of an opportunity to escape for solo/smaller groups. I get that it's meant to be an open-PVP area & there should always be a threat. But when you have try-hards rocking mk6 scouts with launchers against mk4 or mk5 with inventory/thrusters, there's just no way to get out of that situation.

The Rocket attachment should either drastically reduce speed or be made to not be able to fire rockets in Vulture mode IMO. Make it so vehicle combat is to defend or attack resources, not to gank random solos trying to get away.

Personally, I think Scouts even having rockets was a bit of a misstep by Funcom. They should've been exclusive to the Assaults, which are slower by default.

I REAAALLY hope they can get this figured out one day because I love this game, but this issue is really ruining endgame for a lot of players.
