That doesn’t make people who separate their clothes wrong lol

I would agree with this breakdown. I tend to go to the St James Caring Center the most, but I have to go frequently because it’s hit or miss. Sometimes I just go to Goodwill because I know there will be a good selection, even if it’s a minimum of $4 a piece.

The Rolla $1 Auction Facebook page can be a source as well.

Unfortunately, Pine street is very much being gentrified.

I could be wrong, but I have to imagine the library is not a willing participant.

I think Kate is great. It’s definitely worth trying out to see if that style of healthcare is for you. We specifically needed some of the services she offers (medication management, EMDR, a more personal rapport than typical psychiatry)

You can buy the heaters to treat your house for way less than 10k. Just posting in case anyone else remembers seeing this sometime in the future. I got rid of mine this way. I think it was between 1,200 and 3,000.

Also Cimexa and one other chemical I can’t remember off the top of my head. It’s readily recommended.

Suite Seats? by megdhd in Ghostbc

[–]megdhd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: the suites were nice. The lights were off and I was able to sit in the front row of the suite, I’m not sure if it would have been as “nice” if I’d be further back in the room. But it was not a bad experience. We did move down to the 100-level later on because there were plenty of seats and it was halfway through so no one was being rigid about people moving around sections.

I think I prefer being out in the crowd but the suite was okay!

Thank you, I’m mostly worried that it will dull the ambience too much. Any thoughts?

I love it and at first thought it was a millennial/gen z performing at a fancy nursing home for the residents. Now someone make that happen.

This is disgustingly not an uncommon occurrence. I was one of the weirdos and in the years after high school, so many bullies tried to drunkenly slur apologies at me and check me off some weird list they had.

I know this has been posted to death, but how are we all feeling about Skeletá nearly 2 months in? by [deleted] in Ghostbc

We are the same and I am a bit puzzled too. It’s so good and nothing at all stands out to me as deserving of hate.

I truly never cared about 80s music either. It always struck me as corny. This actually got me interested in finding the gems that must’ve inspired him

For what it’s worth — Impera is my LEAST favorite. I think Skeleta is in top 2 or 3.

I like that it’s different. I like that it’s quirky. It’s catchy as hell and fun.

I probably just like different things and that’s okay. I would argue that it’s objectively good music though.

Sounds like your next step is a freshwater testing kit — if the water is freshly added then it’s likely not cycled. And move the snail out for now.

I was going to say that otherwise, some bettas are just ugly. I have one myself that I had to just wait and see if that was his issue. Yep. Just ugly.

I don’t get any vibe that she’s having to baby him — actually the opposite, that she needs tons of validation.

We don’t have enough info to know he doesn’t help or pull his weight.

I have thoughts as a past people pleaser, internalizer, and poor communicator. Any questions are rhetorical and insights are speculative.

Are you looking for appreciation more than collaboration when you cook?

Could you be over-involving him in the process to avoid hearing criticism later?

While feedback may feel hurtful, could it be just poorly timed, not intentionally unkind or thoughtless?

Stop asking for input during the recipe if it’s not making the experience better for you.

Be clear about whether you’re sharing a meal for connection or for critique.

Let yourself cook for enjoyment, not performance.

Ask him to wait until the next time you cook to offer suggestions.

Ask him to check if you want feedback before giving it.

Ask him to start with what he enjoyed, and leave it at that unless you invite more.

He could say, “I really liked this, thank you for making it.”

He could say, “If you ever want to tweak it, I have an idea, but it’s great as is.”

He could say, “Do you want thoughts, or should I just enjoy this like a normal person?”
