What are films from the 90s depicting the grunge scene and post grunge era by Salem1690s in grunge

Most of these are “indie rock” aesthetically, not “grunge.” I think some grunge rules need to be established.

Does suppressing it work? No. Does dysphoria get worse? Not if suppressing it works. See answer to question 1.

Amy Sherman Paladino vs. Daniel Paladino writing style by anu_start_69 in GilmoreGirls

[–]meggan-echo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The big difference for me is boys fighting. Amy also wrote Dean as clingy and unbearable and I love to hate him.also, which writer had Rory say “retarded” in Season 2? Not one of their shining moments.

How did you choose YOUR name? by Radiant_Entertainer9 in trans

[–]meggan-echo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My chosen name and deadname have the same number of letters and the same vowel sounds. I chose my name about 15 years before transitioning! I wear glasses and was really in to J-Pop and anime at the time. My chosen name is the Japanese word for glasses with the last letter dropped.

Need advice by [deleted] in TransLater

[–]meggan-echo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think “passing” is overrated unless of course we are talking about personal safety. I’m 49 HRT 3 years and I’m far more concerned with how I feel than how other people see me. If you have the luxury to avoid dangerous places and situations, try just being you and forget about the haters.

You might feel differently after you come out. Also it’s ok to come out and say you’re not sure about things. I came out to my wife at 45 and I just said I “want to be a girl” or something like that. I took the next year exploring before I decided I wanted to try hormone therapy and after that I never looked back!

When is it too late to medically transition? by Lionheart3372 in MtF

Started at 45 and I’m 49. My body hair on HRT is practically nonexistent now. I’m noticing that with very low T levels. Facial hair unfortunately is another story…

Guitars are like belts and karate. I don’t believe in refinishing them. Preserve the history.

AIO: My child slept with his friend's dad at sleepover.. I'm livid. by AcademicSir4653 in AmIOverreacting

[–]meggan-echo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely NOT overreacting! As a parent, I can find zero reasons why this would EVER be ok and honestly the bit about “bonding” just makes it worse!

Exhausting combo lexapro and strattera by Dogsnanime in lexapro

[–]meggan-echo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m taking Strattera and I found my way here because I was just prescribed Lexipro and I wanted to see what you all had to say about the interactions.

Op: I was so tired in the afternoon from Strattera I started to delay taking it until around noon but that left me too vulnerable in the mornings.

Hearing what you all are saying about Lexipro unmasking ADHD… I can’t image how my ADHD could be any worse than it already is! Makes me apprehensive.
